My bedroom door opens, Hannah walking in. I feel bad for ruining her happy day of finding out the gender, but I know she's more concerned about me than anything else. She's a good friend.
"Talk to me." She says, laying down next to me.
I sigh, not really even knowing what to say.
"She's so pretty.. like model pretty." I say. "She has super light blonde hair. I know Tom likes blondes.. not brunettes like me.."
She scoffs, slapping my arm.
"Don't be stupid. You're Tom's first love. She's just some girl he fucked. She has nothing on you." She says.
"Except for the fact that she calls and he goes running whether I'm in the middle of talking to him or not." I sigh.
"Well we know her name. Let's search her up on facebook and Instagram. Get the dirt." She suggests. This is why she's my best friend.
I grab my laptop off the bedside stand, pulling it to sit in front of Hannah and I. I log into Instagram, searching Tom so I can look for an Andrea in his followers list. If she's showing up at his house, she definitely follows him.
"Andrea Grace." I read. She's one of those stupid bitches that uses their middle name instead of their last name.
"Really? She's using her middle name?" Hannah scoffs, saying my thoughts.
I scroll through her photos. She's so pretty.. her bleach blonde hair is naturally curly, and she's tall and model-esque. She has tons of followers.. she must be an influencer or something.
My suspicions are confirmed when I see a picture of her promoting hi smile. Of course she's a fucking Instagram model. This is the worst thing to ever happen.
"This is bad.." I sigh.
As we scroll further, we see it. A picture posted of her and Tom together. I thought they just fucked? People who just hookup do not take photos together.
"My personal bodyguard is kinda cute." Hannah reads the caption.
Okay.. they definitely were more than the occasional booty call.
I shut the laptop, not wanting to see anymore. I can't.. Tom is going to hurt me. I can feel it.
"Oh Sav.. don't cry." Hannah sighs as I wipe the stray tear that's falling from my eye.
"I just can't go through another break up Han.." I say. "It will wreck me."
______
Hours have passed, no phone call, no text, nothing. Haz tried to get ahold of him multiple times, but all he got was a text saying that Tom would be home later. What could he possibly be doing for hours with this girl? I've never felt so hurt.. he doesn't ignore me. Ever. All of the sudden Andrea shows up and I'm being left on read.
"I'm going to end him. I can't believe he's doing this shit." Haz shakes his head in anger. Haz can't handle me going through another breakup either, he barely was able to pull me out of my last one.
I hear a car pulling up in the driveway, the headlights shinning through the window. Haz stands quickly, and I look to Hannah for help. I want to talk to Tom alone, and I can't do that if Haz starts screaming at him.
"Come on, we need to let them talk." Hannah says, pulling Haz off to his room. I can tell Haz is pissed, but knows Hannah is right. He needs to let Tom and I figure this out ourselves.
The front door opens, and I analyze Tom's appearance. He's still pretty well put together, which means he wasn't fucking her. For some reason that makes me feel worse though.. I'd rather him be physically cheating on me than emotionally cheating on me.
"Hey sweetheart.." Tom says softly, sitting down next to me on the couch. I look at the ground, not really knowing where to start.
"Want to tell me who that girl is?" I ask.
"Her name is Andrea.. her and I hooked up a while ago but that's been over with for over a year. I don't even talk to her anymore." He explains.
"Then why did she show up here? And why did you leave in the middle of talking to me? Then ignore my texts?" I ask.
"I didn't ignore your texts, I was busy-"
"Doing what Tom?!" I snap.
He sighs, shaking his head slightly as he looks to the ground.
"Did you cheat on me?" I ask.
Now his head lifts, his brows scrunched together in confusion.
"What? No! Absolutely not!" He exclaims.
"Then what were you doing for hours that was so important you ignored me?" I ask.
"Savannah.. I can't tell you. It's not my place to discuss her personal life." He says, making me laugh.
"When her personal life makes my boyfriend walk out on me in the middle of a conversation, and ignore me for hours, and make me wonder if he could be cheating on me, then it's my life too." I say.
"I'm sorry Sav.." he sighs. "I can't tell you."
I nod, letting it sink in that my boyfriend is keeping secrets from me, for another girl. This is it. The red flag waving high in the sky. This time, I will listen to the warning signs. I will not let him be another Henry.
"Well.. if you can't be honest, then I don't think this is going to work." I say.
His eyes widen, making him shift in his seat. I can tell he's obviously taken aback by my statement. He shouldn't be though, he knew I was hurt in the past, and that I would never put myself through that again.
"Don't do this sweetheart.." he pleads. "If I could tell you I would, but I promised Andrea I wouldn't tell."
"It's funny.. you promised me you wouldn't hurt me." I say. "You're quick to break your promise to me just to keep your promise to her."
Tom now looks distressed, and upset. Oh well.. he will get over it. I'm sure he will be sleeping with Andrea by the end of the week.
"Sav you can't do this.. I love you." He says.
"Love isn't enough for me anymore." I shake my head.

A/N: ahaha. I'm sorry for hurting your hearts.
