The first week of school passes, and I have no clue how I got through it. The work load is unbelievable, and I really just don't understand most of what we are learning. Sutton has talked to me a few times since the party, but when I made it clear to him that I didn't want to hook up he started talking to me less and less. I did make a few other guy friends though, and they seem really cool.
Today Haz and Tom are having a few people from their class over to work on a group project, so I'll have no one to hang out with and nothing to do. I already asked Charlotte if she wanted to go to the mall, but she has her own friends. It sucks being the odd sibling out and not having my own group like everyone else does.
I hear them all in the living room, and it doesn't even sound like they're working. I step out of my room, walking down the hallway to grab my laptop from the living room so I can watch Netflix.
I see them all sitting around and drinking beer. Yep. Not working. I don't know how they even manage to get through college.
"I just need my laptop." I say quickly, grabbing it off the coffee table.
"You're in my bio class right?" One of the guys say.
"I'm not sure.." I say. "With Professor Blythe?"
"Yes!" He says.
"Savannah, this is Todd, Ryan, and Lane." Haz introduces us.
"Nice to meet you all." I nod. "Gonna go watch Netflix, just let me know when you're done."
"Alright." Haz says, and I go to my room.

•Tom's Pov•
Savannah leaves the room, and Haz gets up to go get more beers. Todd looks over to me quickly with excitement. I already know what this fucker is about to do.. and I'm not engaging.
"Dude you live with her?! She's like the hottest girl in the class! I'd definitely hit that." He says.
"Did you see the ass on her? Damn.." Lane comments.
Keep your cool Tom.. it's fine. She doesn't need you to take care of her. Like she said, it's not your job.
"Eh she's alright. Her tits could be a bit bigger. She also is a little fat in the stomach." Ryan says.
Alright I can't do this. That took it too far.
"You guys need to shut the fuck up." I say. "Don't fucking comment on her body. It's not for you to look at."
"Cmon mate don't act like you haven't thought about getting in bed with her." Todd says.
Well.. he's not wrong but every guy has those thoughts, it's uncontrollable! Besides, I know her way better than they do. I knew her back when she had braces and eyebrows that were too dark. It's one thing for me to have thoughts like that, but it's another for them.
"That's beside the point. I don't want to hear any comments about her body. Positive or negative."
"Our boy is whipped!" Lane laughs.
"No I'm just a decent person." I state.
God I can't wait to just get this stupid project done. I thought I was dumb.. but I think I just found people dumber than me.

Haz finally gets rid of everyone, and it's pretty late. Not one more comment was made about Savannah which I was happy about, but it was probably just because Haz came back. I grab a beer from the fridge and drink it as I walk down the hallway to my room.
I notice Savannah's door is open, and she's typing away on her computer, she's in her favorite pajamas, the ones with polkadots. Her face is scrunched slightly because she's so focused on what she's doing, but stops when she sees me.
"Can I talk to you for a second?" She asks.
"Yeah, sure." I nod, stepping into the room and shutting the door behind me.
She scoots over, patting her bed next to her. I sit down and she lets out a sigh.
"I just want to say thank you.. for earlier." She says.
"I'm sorry I'm confused?.." I say. What did I do earlier? We've barely talked today.
"I heard what they were saying. What all of you were saying." She says.
Oh.. so she heard those guys being sick pigs about her body. Maybe she'll realize just how disgusting college guys are now. But.. probably not. She doesn't tend to grasp things easily.
"Don't need to thank me." I shake my head. "Any decent guy would have said what I said."
"Yeah well I guess there's not many decent guys then." She shrugs.
"You are absolutely right. Which is why I'm going to be there every time, ruining the party or the conversation or the pre hookup. Because guys are disgusting." I say, making her laugh.
"I may hate you but I still appreciate you." She says.
"Nah, lets not turn it into that." I shake my head and she rolls her eyes.
"Can't let anyone ever be nice to you?" She asks sarcastically.
"Of course not." I say, standing up. "Messes with my bad boy rep."
"What bad boy rep?" She asks with a laugh.
"Darling you have no idea who I am when I'm not around you." I say, and it's true. She's so innocent that I unconsciously alter who I am around her.
I head into my room, and sit on my bed. Ever since the party she hasn't talked to me much and when she did it had an angry undertone. Who knew all I had to do was tell off some assholes to make her like me again.
This whole thing between us started when we were younger. It was a 'pull the pigtails of the girl you like' kind of situation. Then we got older, grew out of our childhood crushes and actually just grew to dislike each other. It was fine then, but we live together now. I can't afford to constantly be fighting with her. I don't want to constantly be fighting with her.
Tonight was nice. I just hope we can start getting along like that more often.
