Crossing the line is something that can't be undone. Once you cross that line you can't go back. And who says you even want to go back? Lots of people characterize crossing that line with something bad. But often, it can sometimes be the best decision you've ever made.
This physical or emotional line can bring upon a series of events that you never imagined would happen. Some of these events can bring you love and joy, and others can bring you heartbreak and suffering. And sometimes, these events can bring you all of those things. But if you encounter all of those things, and it still leads you to where you want and needs to be in life, would you trade that heartbreak and suffering for a happier life and give up the path you were supposed to go on?
I wouldn't. You may not know it at the time, but all that heartbreak and suffering will take you someplace great in the end. And it all came from crossing that line. Occasionally, you're scared to cross that line because of the consequences, but you always have to take risks because you never know if that one little risk can change everything in just a matter of moments.

A month has come and gone and we are now enjoying the crisp fall air and the leaves falling from their homes in the trees. A lot has happened in the past month, a lot has happened within this month.
Paige, Cam, and I have been working a lot on the Cobra case. But, we've also had our own independent assignments to take care of. Nothing major, just enough to keep us busy and on our toes.
Cooper went on trial during the past month and multiple women testified against him for date rape and sexual assault. He was found guilty and got 11 years for sexual assault, 7 years for rape, and an additional 2 years for drug possession. So, he has a total of 20 years in prison for what he's done. I was asked to testify but SSA Billings had me decline at the risk of my identity being figured out by someone.
I'm glad Cooper is out of my life. He deserved what happened to him. Unfortunately, this incident has left the Dyer Hotel without a manager. Cooper may have been a terrible man but he was a damn good manager. Jace and I have been on the hunt for a new manager, but no luck. No one is qualified or no one is competent to be the manager of a hotel. But who am I to speak? I never majored in business yet here I am.
That's another thing. According to Lily and everyone else in the office, Jace has changed. Lily says that he's happy again, he smiles, he talks to his workers again. Lily blames it all on me, but I think maybe he was just ready for a change.
Jace is my best friend in the office. We spend most of our time together, joke around, talk with each other. I've even started staying after hours to help Jace with his workload so that he can get to sleep earlier. Sometimes we'll even work on weekends together either in the office or sometimes in my apartment.
Jace seems grateful and like he really enjoys my company. I enjoy him too. We've had a few moments like the ones we've had last month, and it's pretty clear to me now. I like Jace. I'd like to say that he likes me too, but I don't want to get ahead of myself. I'm already overthinking with the fact that I actually developed feelings for my target.
We haven't talked about the information he told me about my dad. It's painful to talk about, but somehow I'm relieved that someone was there for my dad in his last moments. Someone was there who tried to save him. And I guess I'm glad that someone was Jace.
Things have been running smoothly in the hotel. I actually like the work I do here. It's not much different than my FBI work is paperwork. Being an FBI agent isn't always the exciting and thrilling job it appears to be.
Jace and I have been searching for a new manager. Lily has been helping since she is the HR manager, but Jace said he wanted to take the reigns on this hiring process. We've been interviewing people almost every week and it's getting frustrating that we haven't found anyone yet.
