Trust goes two ways in a relationship. You can't have one person not trusting the other when they're not trustworthy themselves. Trust is crucial to any relationship. You need to know you can count on the other person to be there for you, to tell you when something wrong, to not break your heart. So why is trust so difficult to build up?

For some people, it comes easily, for others it doesn't. People can tend to sense when they should trust a person or not. If someone doesn't trust you, you may come off as shifty, a liar, or dishonest. Why though? Maybe the answer is something you don't understand. Maybe you don't even realize that you're untrustworthy.

Two people who are untrustworthy but trying to do their best to hide it are dangerous. Their worlds collide and when the truth comes out you'll never know the damage. The best you can hope for is that you and your partner aren't keeping secrets from each other. And if you are? You need to realize it before you both lose each other.

After running into Jax, crying on my mom's shoulder, and trying on dresses appropriate for the bitter weather, the three of us finally left the boutique with three dresses in hand. Shana picked out a white long-sleeved dress as her wedding dress. I picked out a navy blue dress and my mom picked out a yellow dress. Everyone will clash, but it doesn't matter. We'll all have coats on anyways.

My mom and Shana wait in the car while I go to pick up the bouquets of flowers that I ordered. When I walk into the flower shop, the nice man is standing there smiling, and when he sees me he goes to the back and returns with a bag containing two bouquets of flowers and a bag of flower petals.

I thank the nice man for preparing this so quickly and ask how much this all costs. He gives me the price, I pay and we talk for a minute.

"When's the wedding?" He asks.

"Tomorrow afternoon into the evening."

"Where's it going to be at?"

"The high school, about five miles from here."

The man nods and acts as if he understands why we chose a high school for a wedding, "I'm sure you can make it look beautiful."

"Thank you," I hand him a twenty-dollar bill, "For doing this so quickly."

He smiles, "If you ever need any more bouquets, possibly for a wedding of yours, you can come back and I'll give you a discount."

"That's very generous, but it's more likely if I come back it'll be for another reason, not my wedding." I look down, "I don't think I'm ever going to get married."

The man's smile fades but then comes back, "Never say never."

I grin at him and give him one final thanks before walking out of the shop and back to my car.

"What took so long? Were the flowers not ready?" My mom asks.

I hand the flowers to Shana in the backseat, "No, I was talking to the shop owner. He's kind of like a wise old owl."

"These are beautiful!" Shana says, smelling the flowers.

I look at her through the rearview mirror. She looks so happy, marrying the love of her life tomorrow. And then there's me.

Once we get home, we're greeted by Cam and Aidan. They're sitting at the table with a collection of decorations and food they got. There are also two rings.

"I ordered the main food for tomorrow. I also bought a gorgeous cake from the bakery but it needs to be picked up today." Cam says.

"Thank you," I hug him, "You should get home and see Ana and Kierra. We got everything handled here."
