Tell everybody I'm on my way! And I'm loving every step I take With the sun beating down Yes I'm on my way And I can't keep this smile off my face!
We had just taken a little break and just sat down in the grass near a gasstation. We bought some lunch and I was playing guitar. Trying to lighten the mood a bit more.
I love being out on the road but when my best friend and unofficial boyfriend are with me it's so much better.
"Isn't that from a Disney movie?" Lou asks.
"Yes. It's from brother bear. But it's still a really nice song. I love to play it when I'm on the road." I smile bright. The song always makes me instantly happy.
"Phil Collins made some good songs for Disney movies tho." I add taking a bite from my sandwich.
"True." Louis agrees. "Tarzan is beautiful example of that."
God how I love that movie... the music is beautiful and I don't know why but it has always been one of my favorites. Ever since I was little I loved that movie.
We sang a few other songs and got back on the road again. On our way to Holmes Chapel. The place where my life was legendary. But also the place where I felt like dying every day...
The town just holds double feelings for me and since we're going to my dad first I don't know if I'm that excited. I'm rather scared really...
I don't know what will happen. It's either him begging me to come back or telling me I'm staying with no room for discussion. And I'm kind of scared for the latter.
That's why I asked both Lou and Will to come really. I need some kind of back up. Lou may not hurt a fly but his half punk look speaks different.
He knows Will on the other hand and she won't hesitate to do whatever is needed to get me out of there. Only thinking about that makes me calmer already.
"Hazz why are you so tensed up?" Lou asks gently putting his hand on my thigh.
"Because of my dad. I haven't been there in, I don't know, 6? 7 months? I don't know how he'll react or how my room will be looking." I admit.
