Chapter XIX

It has been a week since Y/N L/N is missing.

It has been a week since Levi Ackerman started to lose himself. Not literally that he lose his whole self, but with that period of time, he's stressing not just a double amount it.

Perturbed, frightened, hurting, bewildered, and nervous is what he feels right now. And very or excessively is an understatement.

Historia is now the one ruling everyone inside the walls. Meaning, they had succeeded their mission. But some of them, instead of being happy, they sympathizes for Levi and feeling the need to look for their friend too. Even Erwin who seemed unbothered and calm to everything is starting to get anxious about her sudden disappearance.

Today looks like a normal day inside the Survey Corps Headquarters. But for the higher rankings and the rest of Y/N's friends, everyday without her is not normal.

An urgent and important meeting was planned this day and almost the needed people for the assembly are complete. Eager to make plans and get to a mission where they are all willing to.

Commander Erwin Smith entered the room keeping his serious posture. He goes to the front and cleared his throat to get their attention, for Levi to be specific. Levi broke his gaze from the floor and gave Erwin his full attention, tensing up from time to time.

"Alright. Let's get started."

Erwin spoke and stares at Levi who is spacing out again. Levi bits his lips thinking about Y/N. About where she could possibly be or if she's fine and bruise-less. Erwin, again, faked a cough to draw Levi's enthrallment.

"I'm sorry. I just can't stop myself thinking about her." Said Levi looking down.

For the second time in Erwin's life together with Levi, he finally get to see this side of him again. He never have been so down like this after he reunited with Y/N years ago. Levi brightened too much so a mood like this of him is easy to notice. It is pretty obvious anyway.

"Levi. Did she talked about something the day before she went missing?" Asked Erwin.

Levi thinks deeply. The whole room is enveloped by silence as Levi trying to remember anything from her aside from being cheerful, and dramatic at the same time. All of the eyes were directed at him, waiting for some answer.

After a minute or two, Levi finally got an idea. He shifted in his seat composing himself as he tries to relax.

"Before an emergency about Titan happened, the day when I gave my soldiers a day off, Y/N goes with Sasha on a date. She is by herself when she went home. She is looking tired, confused and I don't know, she's literally not in her focus that day. I knew something happened but until now I had no idea what is it. But this thing might help. She had a breakdown about her memory loss and her mother. Could it be..."

Levi's eyes widened as the thought snapped him. Since Marco didn't shows any suspicion, they stopped thinking about her being kidnapped. Marco is currently on Hange's quarter today and not even a slightest sign has seen on him.

"It is possible that she fared back in the underground. Since she isn't with Eren and Krista in the chapel. Maybe she wasn't kidnapped after all." Said Hange adjusting her glasses.

"But then again, she will not disappear without telling anybody!" Argued Levi.

"The underground is the closest place she could have been. She wasn't in the chapel, Kenny Ackerman doesn't have her too. Marco isn't suspicious as what Hange suspected. Maybe that story will lead us to her Levi. Let's just try and if she is not there then your team will go back here and continue to find her." Explained Erwin gaining an approval from most of them.
