Chapter III

It's been a week since Y/n arrived in the Survey Corps Headquarters, and in the next three days, she'll be sent in the Training Corps as planned. Y/n is disappointed of course, she plead the Corporal to let her stay in their command, but as much as he wants to, it is still necessary for her to go in the Training Corps.

Other than Isabel, Farlan and Petra, she got along with the cheerful-mad scientist, Section Commander Hange Zoe. At first, Y/n is uncomfortable with her presence, she had been blabbering about how she loves titans and such, but soon, unexpectedly, they got along.

"Hey Y/n, are you excited for your training?" Asked Hange walking with Y/n in the hallway.

"No." Retorted Y/n moving closer to Hange, it's quite crowded in the hallway at this hour, soldiers are heading in the mess hall to have their starters of the day, to eat breakfast.

"Why? You will learn many things out there! You'll learn about Titans! And-"

"I learned a lot already from you." Said Y/n chuckling. Hange laughed at her remark as she realized how talkative she is when it comes to Titans. Y/n got used to it, she even remembered some of Hange's lecture, which made her very thankful considering that having enough knowledge about Titans, she can easily cope up with the lectures in the Training Corps.

"I'm sorry about it, I just can't help but to share it with you." Said Hange as they turn their direction and enter the mess hall.

"Don't be sorry, I thank you for being a good teacher to me." Said Y/n, she looked around the mess hall hoping to find a grumpy and short Corporal. She don't know why every morning she wants to see Levi, she brushed away the thought and just followed Hange.

"Let's head to our table!" Shouted Hange as she pulled Y/n excitedly making the other soldiers surprised at her rampant actions. Levi noticed them approaching, he clicked his tongue, irritated at how rowdy Hange is.

"I am not belonged to that table Hange, that is for higher ups only. Let me just sit there-"

"You have been sitting with us for a week now, why did you suddenly think that?" Said Hange as she push Y/n to sit in front of Levi. Y/n hesitantly agreed, besides, mess hall is already crowded and she can't find any sits available.

"So..." Erwin spoke, gaining attention from the people within their table. "Are you ready to train, Y/n?" Asked the Commander. Y/n blinked for a second looking at him and she answered. "I am ready but I want to stay here." There is a sadness in her voice, she have been close to few people here, she want to stay with them.

"You'll stay with us after your training. We are looking forward to work with you." Said Erwin, pride visible in his voice.

"Yeah. Wait me, I'll slay Titan's ass nastily." Erwin smiled at her, Hange chuckled as well as Mike, and Levi just stared at her.

He is worried to be honest, outside the wall is extremely dangerous, he is afraid she might get hurt or killed, Levi cannot stand seeing her body drenched with blood again fighting for her life. Who knows what will happen to him if something tragic take place again, maybe he will lose his sanity.

"Levi, are you alright?" Asked Hange shaking him, he immediately got back to his senses and instead of answering Hange's question, he continued drinking his tea with his very own weird way. "You have been looking at her for a long period of time without even blinking! You're so creepy shorty."

"Shut up shitty glasses, don't you dare ruin my morning."

Y/n laughed, something which made Levi stare at her again, amazed by her laugh and beauty. How he love that happy face of Y/n, that will remain forever, he promised.
