Monday, September 18th
Standing in the lobby of Grey+Sloan Memorial Hospital stood Amelia Shepherd, her older brother Derek Shepherd, his wife Meredith Grey and Arizona Robbins. They were making casual conversations including the day's surgeries and schedule changes.
In through the entrance doors walked a man. With dirty blonde hair, and light blue eyes. He wore a blue dress shirt and dark blue pants. He paired with brown shoes while carrying a briefcase. He approached the entrance desk where the group of doctors were located.
"Where might one find Dr. Amelia Shepherd?" He asked with concern in his voice as he switched the briefcase from his right hand into his left. Beginning to grow impatient- his question wasn't a hard one.
"Why might we ask do you need her Mr...." Arizona answered weary of who she was giving Amelia's identity and office location away to at the moment, until she knew who he was when she took a closer and more in depth look at him.
Meredith and Derek looked towards him and they as well knew who this strange man was but more importantly they knew what he was.
Amelia grew confused and looked to her brother and sister in law for help while they gestured for her to introduce herself. And with that not so helpful nudge she began to introduce herself to this seemingly total stranger who wanted to know who she was.
A/N: i know this chapter is so short but i wanted to ease you guys into this brand new story because it's not gonna be your typical amelink love story! enjoy this first chapter!!
