chapter twenty-two

"okayy," chloe spoke to herself, "what shall i get k?"

she entered the apple store, remembering that k complained about his laptop continuously glitching, so he wasn't able to do much.

deciding to buy a laptop for k, she walked over to the laptop section and got help from staff.

after her purchase, she went to a different store and asked for a bag, so that she could disguise the apple bag.

with ten minutes left to spare, she decided to walk around the outlet and enjoy the chilly weather.

"excuse me. i'm a big fan of you. can i get a picture?" a voice asked from behind, making chloe turn around to see k.

k began chuckling as he caught up with chloe, "did you find what you were looking for?"

chloe hummed, "did you?"

k nodded, "it's in here."

he brought his hand up to his heart, "my person is getting my true love."

"oh my they're so lucky," chloe sarcastically spoke.

"okay kids," chloe gathered all seven boys into the kitchen, "let's make christmas cookies!"

in the christmas spirit, everyone came together and made christmas cookies, while singing and dancing to christmas music.

while waiting for the cookies to bake, the boys helped chloe prep the icing to decorate the cookies.

the music changed to mistletoe and the members cheered for chloe and k to perform once again.

"kiss! kiss! kiss!" jay chanted.

"let's see a kiss happen!" heeseung hollered.

"we know you've done it before! let's see it!" daniel added.

chloe and k chuckled at the boys' comments. k pulled chloe closer to him, gently caressing chloe's cheek before the two leaned in and kissed with cheers and teasing in the background.

"we need to know! are you two dating?" sunghoon asked.

sharing the same thoughts, chloe and k both stuck their wrists out and showed the boys their tattoos.

"yah .." jay gasped.

"you two .. are SOULMATES?" jake exclaimed.

"that explains so much," jungwon spoke, making chloe and k laugh.

"so you two are dating?" daniel asked.

"no."

"yes."

chloe and k faced each other after replying with different answers.

"since when were we dating?" chloe asked.

"since now," k replied, making the dorm go silent to where only the music was heard.

"be my girlfriend?" k asked.

chloe was frozen in shock, but after a moment of silence, she smiled and nodded, making the boys go crazy.

k chuckled and pulled chloe into a hug, swaying her back and forth.

right on cue, the timer went off for the cookies to be taken out of the oven.

after letting them cool down, each person took a cookie to decorate, which was the fun part. everyone was laughing and enjoying the moment.

k walked over to chloe and showed her the heart shaped cookie he decorated.

"will you accept my love?" he asked in a playful voice.

"ahh," chloe opened her mouth to take a bite of the cookie.

k brought the cookie up to chloe's mouth, but before she could bite it, she put icing on her finger and spread it across k's cheek.

"oh you're going to get it," k scoffed, getting icing on his finger and chasing after chloe who ran away.

chloe ran into k's room, but k was able to sneak in before she shut the door.

"okay okay i'm sorry," chloe squealed, backing up and hitting her back against the wall.

"are you now?" k asked, placing a hand on the wall above chloe's head, trapping her.

chloe nodded, letting out a little yelp as k's head came super close to hers.

"you're so precious," k whispered before leaning in for a kiss.

this kiss wasn't like the rest. this one held more meaning for some reason. chloe could feel it in her heart.

she never thought she would be able to make time for a relationship, but she wouldn't want to be with anyone else. k was perfect for her. he complimented her in ways she never imagined.

they separated from the kiss and stared into each other's eyes. chloe's arms were around k's waist, while k caressed her cheek.

"hey, chloe .." k began, breaking the silence, receiving a hum.

k backed up and quickly put the icing on chloe's nose before running out of the room.

"oh i am so in love," she smiled to herself before going after k.

hsjsbsksbsksh. this story is coming to an end real soon. i have the last few chapters already written and i'm slowly going to be updating it. ngl .. i didn't really like how i was writing this book at first, but since i've finished all the chapters, it makes me sad that it's ending.

now i have a question .. should i continue this iland book series or should i branch out into other kpop groups?
