"before i continue, does anyone have reasons as to why these two should not marry each other?" the priest asked.
from the silence, the priest nodded and continued on with the ceremony.
"ms. kim, please repeat after me," the priest instructed, "i chloe kim, take you, k, to be my husband. i promise to be true to you in good times, in sickness and in health. i will love and honor you all the days of my life."
after the exchange of vows, the priest then asked the two to join hands. chloe and k faced each other as both pairs of hands were joined. both of them looking softly at each other with a slight smile, chloe having tears form in her eyes.
"k, do you take chloe as your lawful wife, to have and to hold, from this day forward, for better or for worse, for richer or for poor, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish until death do you part?"
k's smiled became wider as he caressed chloe's hand.
"i do."
"chloe, do you take k as your lawful husband, to have and to hold, from this day forward, for better or for worse, for richer or for poor, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish until death do you part?"
"i do."
immediately after, k and chloe placed their rings on one another as the priest concluded, "you may now kiss the bride."
as the two leaned in, cheers and applauds were heard throughout the entire church.
chloe and k leaned onto each other's foreheads as they laughed at each other.
"you're my wife now," k whispered with a chuckle.
"and you're my husband," chloe smiled back.
"i love you, baby."
"always and forever."
