chapter nineteen

the four boys were scattered around the dorm, while chloe was in the kitchen. sunghoon and jake were in the living room, monitoring their past performances together. heeseung was cleaning up the dining table for the food. k was in his room, tidying everything up for chloe.

"hey, do you think your other members would want food as well?" chloe asked the three boys that were near the kitchen.

the three boys shrugged and went to see who was at the door because the doorbell rang.

almost on cue, her question was answered when the other members barged into the dorm, complaining about their hunger.

"oh- chloe!" jay greeted, "what are you doing here so late?"

"she's living here now," sunghoon answered for chloe, keeping his eyes on the television, making jungwon, jay, and daniel stop in their tracks.

chloe turned and chuckled at their shocked state, but returned to cooking, "its only temporary. both companies are aware of this, so it's okay."

"but .. did something happen at your place?" jungwon curiously asked.

"her apartment isn't safe anymore, so she'll be staying here until her company sorts that situation out," k answered, walking into the kitchen.

"if you don't mind me asking, what happened?" jungwon proceeded to ask.

"oh that's right," heeseung spoke, "you didn't tell us what happened."

all seven boys sat at the table and watched as chloe brought the food to the table.

"eat first and then i'll tell you," chloe smiled.

"okay! thank your for the food!" the boys cheered before immediately digging in.

while the boys began eating, chloe went into k's room, or her new room for the time being, and went to look for comfortable clothes to change into.

"oh no," she gasped to herself, "what do i do?"

there was a knock on the door and chloe went to open it to see k.

"you're not eating?" he asked.

chloe shook her head, "i shouldn't eat this late. i've got to watch out for my diet."

k lifted his eyebrows, "diet? but you haven't eaten anything for dinner."

"i'm still full from lunch. i'm okay," chloe smiled, giving k two thumbs up.

k leaned on the door frame and folded his arms, unconvinced, "lunch was twelve hours ago."

"but if you don't want to eat, i won't force you. just make sure you are feeding yourself enough okay?" he asked.

"ng," chloe hummed, cutely nodding.

chloe walked towards the bed and let herself fall on it as she let out a sigh. she felt the bed dip, turning her head to see k lying next to her, looking up at the ceiling.

she turned her body to face the ceiling as well and could see k turn her head to look at her in the corner of her eye.

"what was the sigh for?" k asked.

chloe looked at k and replied, "i didn't pack any comfy clothes to sleep in. i forgot."

k stood up and walked over to his closet, "do you need pants too?"

chloe shook her head, "i can manage in these."

k nodded and handed chloe a white t-shirt and a grey hoodie, "use this for now. we can stop by your place after the performance tomorrow okay?"

chloe grinned and nodded, "thank you."

"of course," k smiled, lying back down on the bed, "the bathroom is right across the hall. you can change in there."

chloe nodded and exited the room. putting on the t-shirt and hoodie, she looked in the mirror and face palmed at how tiny she looked in k's oversized clothes.

she neatly folded the clothes she changed out of and walked back into the room, finding k sound asleep on the bed.

"he must be really worn out," she mumbled to herself before putting her clothes back into the bed.

she walked over to k and pulled up the covers then walked out of the room, softly closing the door.

"chloe, come eat," the boys invited.

"no no," she smiled, politely rejecting the offer, "i made it for you all to enjoy it."

"has k eaten yet?" she asked.

she looked at the boys shaking their heads, mumbling to herself, "and he's one to tell me i should make sure i feed myself enough."

"chloe .. are you perhaps wearing k's clothes?" daniel asked as all the boys began noticing it as well.

"a-ah .." chloe nervously chuckled, "i forgot to pack clothes to sleep in, so he lent me some."

the boys began teasing her, making her blush extremely hard.

"oh that's right! did you know that our fans think you and k are dating?" heeseung asked.

"really?" jay, sunghoon, and jungwon asked in unison, "how do you know?"

"ah they were commenting all kinds of things like that on k's behind the scenes video," heeseung replied.

"i'm predicting right now that k and chloe are going to become a couple soon," jungwon smiled, starting a big topic between the boys.

we're soulmates.
of course we will ..
eventually.
