special: chapter three

*one year later*

after months of restless nights staying up to plan for their big day, k and chloe could finally put a ring on it.

from the gecko, the two knew that they would be getting married in the wintertime since it was the season they first met each other and things went as planned.

knowing that k's members were going to be participating as groomsmen in the wedding, chloe had to spend lots of time searching for six bridesmaids to be their pairs, eventually reaching out to fellow artists in the industry that she became close with over time.

those artists were lisa and rosé of blackpink, dahyun and nayeon of twice, and red velvet's irene and yeri.

the age gap between the bridesmaids and groomsmen were quite different, but what chloe really intended on doing was helping sunghoon meet irene.

there were going to be zero fan sites allowed, the only professional pictures being taken by one of sm's best photographers. however, there was an unlimited amount of guests as the couple had relatives coming from everywhere as well as other artists in the industry.

*december 23rd -
two days before christmas*

all the girls, including chloe were in the dressing room of the venue that the wedding was being held in. because of all the wedding preparations, all seven girls became extremely close and were comfortable enough with each other to drop all honorifics.

each girl had their personal hairstylist and makeup artist help them get ready, each of the girls having a different look, but same colored dress.

"okay chloe!" rosé smiled as the girls gathered around on the grass field.

the boys also walked onto the grass field, but the bride and groom were not allowed to look at each other just yet.

the two had their backs facing each other's as the bridesmaids and groomsmen surrounded them. chloe was going to read a letter k wrote to her and k was going to read a letter chloe wrote to him.

"shall we do rock, paper, scissor shoot to see who goes first?" chloe asked, receiving a yes from k.

"ahh! k won!" everyone cheered.

"okay babe," chloe spoke, "go ahead."

k let out a breath before unfolding the paper.

"my love," k began, "it seems like it was only yesterday when we first met each other in that interview, doesn't it? in just a few moments, i'll finally get to call you my husband and a new chapter in our lives will begin. i don't think i have and will ever meet anyone who looks at me the way you do, talks to me the way you do, cares for me the way you do, and loves me the way you do. words cannot describe how blessed i am to have you in my life. you've helped me grow in every aspect and i couldn't have asked for anyone or anything else. as we walk down the aisle later, i want you to know that you'll always have my heart. i promise to cherish you until death do us part."

k paused and let out a sniffle, "to my knight in shining armor, i love you."

judging from everyone's reactions, chloe could tell that k was getting emotional so she reached her hand back and intertwined her hand with his.

she looked at all the girls who were wiping their eyes with a tissue and in the corner of her eye, she could see that boys smiling brightly.

then it was her turn.

"angel, before i met you, i had no experience of love. i didn't know what is truly was, what it felt like, or how to do it. however, when i met you, it all came so naturally. i remember the exact moment you first told me 'i love you.' the world froze and all i could think about was how i knew i'd be marrying you one day. now that brings us to this very moment. with you in my life, i've been able to live so many dreams and now i'd finally be living one more. no matter where life takes us, you'll always be my precious angel that i will never fail to love. i am the luckiest man alive to be able to call you my wife in just a few moments. chloe, you are truly the love of my life and i love you so much."

she folded the paper back up once again, trying to ignore the tears that were uncontrollably falling down her face.

"my makeup is going to be ruined," she stated, tilting her head up as she cried even more, making everyone laugh.

"okay," the photographer spoke, "can i now have the bride turn around to prepare for the first look. let's do the makeup and hair touch ups real quick."

chloe handed the letter and her tissue to rosé before turning around, allowing the stylists to fix up her tear stained cheeks.

"k, on the count of three, i ask that you turn around," the photographer stated, "1, 2, 3!"

k slowly turned around and made eye contact with chloe, which immediately sparked his emotions. he looked down at her dress and turned away, covering his face with his hand.

"baby .." chloe mumbled.

k took chloe's hands in his and smiled at her, "you look gorgeous. you really do, angel."

"am i allowed to hug her?" k asked the photographer.

"yes! a hug is perfect!"

k immediately pulled chloe into his arms, placing his chin on top of her head and closing his eyes.

"i can't believe i get to marry you," he whispered.
