"OH! YOU'RE here again!" Shelaine exclaimed, shocked upon seeing the savior of Luna after coming out of the special room she made for her ex-granddaughter when their lengthy talk ended.

Up until now, the guy is still wearing his weird outfit just that is why the woman's shock was even greater upon seeing his black figure just after she closed the door of the room.

The young man frowned at the new face that he saw. He had been going back and forth in that house for a few days already and the people he knew who lived there were only an old woman and a beautiful young lady. So, how come there are two teenage girls living in the house now?

"Who are you and what are you doing here? Where is Crostelia and her grandmother?"

After hearing the young man's question, the woman chuckled as enlightenment came and hit her mind.

"This is my original form," she calmly said, "But I'm not the one whom you saw changing appearance before. My appearance can change by the way I adjust my body's time. My magic cannot copy other faces or adjust it to make a totally different person."

The young man was stunned for a few seconds before his eyes gradually widened as his lips parted.

"Time manipulation?! Isn't that hard to master?" the man, who was usually silent-unless it was about Luna-and just an observer, asked in a bewildered tone.

Who wouldn't be shocked? During his whole years of existence, this was the freaking first time he met someone who could actually manipulate time! Someone who could use time magic! Isn't it amazing?

"It was hard. Though time manipulation was a part of manipulation magic, it was also considered as a lost magic since it is almost gone and very complicated to understand. Unlike other normal manipulation magic like puppetry magic, this is almost ten times harder," she explained while the latter is still in daze.

"However, I feel like there's nothing special about it. Yeah? So, what if I can manipulate my appearance, see the future if I would like to or stop the time? This is not that great anyway," Shelaine added, which confused the guy.

"You can't go to the past or future?" he hesitantly asked as the topic seemed to have a sensitive spot to the woman he was talking to.

"Not totally I can or I cannot. It's just that, going to the past just to change the future doesn't feel right to me. If you want to change the future, you should start working with the present. But if it's really needed, I can really go there if I want to. Though, the sacrifice will be a little big, I won't die anyway. That's the reason why almost all of the members of our family were targeted, captured and died and only me survived, I think? Humans are just too greedy," she replied with a bittersweet smile on her lips as she started to reminisce.

"Anyway, I need to go now. Take care of her for me, young man," Shelaine mischievously said as she immediately had her way out.

INSIDE the room, Luna made herself act as if she was still sleeping when she heard the three consecutive soft knocks reverberated on the door.

Who might it be? Her ex-grandmother never knocked on her door and just always entered her room whenever she wanted to as if it was her own. That is why she is certain that the person in front of her room was not Shelaine.

The door opened and closed softly before the young lady heard the gentle footsteps that were approaching her bed. Just a few seconds later, the left side of her bed carefully sank, a sign that someone started sitting beside her. When she felt a cold palm on her left cheek, she stiffened in her place and could barely breathe.
