Chapter 9: It's a Date
"CROS, let's go to the cafeteria. I'm hungry!" Ciar said to the maiden shortly after their morning classes ended.
And she, who felt like a doll again, has obeyed the words of the man without even being aware of it again as if she was his puppet.
She only noticed it when they were already walking in one direction.
"Why are you so silent to me? Is that how you're going to behave later the rooftop?" the man muttered like a snobby kid while his lips were pouting.
Then, he suddenly stopped walking and went in front of her as he stared at her intently.
Her cheeks immediately warmed up from the awkwardness she felt but also recovered when she remembered what that mysterious guy had said about the thing on the rooftop.
"Rooftop?" she cluelessly uttered.
The boy smiled playfully as he said, "Hi! I'm not the guy whom you usually talked to at the rooftop in case you're thinking I am. I am a different person, and my name is Ciar Stoneheart. It's nice to meet you!" Ciar energetically said that made her mouth parted in shock.
"What did you just say?!"
AFTERNOON break at the female restroom, two girls were beside each other in front of the large, long mirror of the room while they were busy fixing their makeups.
"What are your plans? Earlier, I heard how fast her heartbeat went. She obviously likes him. I hate how all the guys in our room are interested in her. Did she bewitch them?!" the dark chocolate-haired maiden exclaimed with extreme annoyance while fanning herself with her right hand as if she was being suffocated.
"I'll definitely make that bitch drop out. After all, that was the only reason I've requested for her to transfer in our section although she's a total loser. Did I ever fail? Of course not," the other girl replied with a large smile on her face as she applied a new layer of her newly bought lipstick on her bloody red lips.
"May I join you?"
They both looked at the source of the voice and immediately dropped the makeup tools they were using when they saw who it was.
AND SO, he really trained her after their afternoon classes ended...
Wait. Did he really train her or was it more on just flirting? Every move she made when they got onto the rooftop was always countered with his flirtatious moves.
If the man would not suddenly laugh while they were in the middle of the training, then he would smile at her in his brightest way before he would suddenly press his lips and stare at her from head to toe as if a predator observing its prey. And then, his eyes would go back and stay on her chest. The young man's gaze would not leave her chest not until she managed to hit or attack him.
He was a flirt, but she could say he was also a great fighter. He managed to use the little time they got to train her, and she felt as though she learned a lot for that day. So, she happily went home that time with the little progress that she made.
WHEN the young lady returned home, she was shocked at what waited for her in their house. Instead of seeing her grandmother's sickly appearance, a beautiful young woman whom she thought was around her age was staying in the living room.
Who is this? This is her first time seeing the beautiful woman in their house and she literally has no idea about her identity but seeing how comfortable she is sitting; she might be a guest?
The most important question though was; where was her grandmother?! She would usually go home first before her, eh? Why did she come across someone else?
