Chapter 17: I'll Show You Who's the Boss

SO, SHE did what was told to her by the book the moment she made it inside the Mountain of Life. But of course, she tried finding a safe place first for her meditation since she was alone there. Who knows what she might encounter if she let herself open and defenseless?

On her way there, she found a small cave that looked unused-and that was what she chose to use for a while.

Right now, she is currently sitting in a lotus position on the ground while trying her best to focus as hard as she could until she would hear nothing anymore and be drawn in the darkness that was mentioned by the diary owner.

It took her a lot of time and patience that day but she still failed. How could she even meditate up to the point where she could no longer hear her surroundings?

Because of her annoyance, she tried finding any information in the diary that could be useful to her current situation instead of meditating.

And again, she failed. When she tried to turn the page of the diary to find an answer, she was startled when she felt a strong force that suddenly appeared in her area.

She could not move. Her head just looked straight ahead-she couldn't even blink.

She remained frozen still in her place for a few moments until the notebook she was holding suddenly emitted a floating small black smoke.

The strange thing suddenly spun around her while her hands that were gripping the diary were getting hotter as time continuously passed by. Moments later, the black smoke suddenly flew towards her!

Few seconds later, the only thing that could be heard inside the small cave of Mountain of Life was the agonizing scream of Luna who was currently receiving all the knowledge that the old diary owner once possessed.

HOURS passed by slowly as she was in pain and processing every data that was being briskly sent to her. Finally, the moment it was done, instead of resting, she continued on trying again to manifest her power.

She was sure this time that she wouldn't fail!

"Sit in your most comfortable position. Close your eyes. Clear your mind. Think of nothing but a blank room where you're currently at while being surrounded by the seemingly unending darkness. Feel your surroundings. Breathe in and breathe out slowly. Don't think about the noise. Calm down. Silence will eventually come once you're already in your deepest concentration.

Once that thing happened and you're already in that place, search for the ball of heat around where your full power lies. Touch it. Grab it. Absorb it. And after that, apply every knowledge I've bestowed upon you.

Remember this, disciple, the place you're about to enter is in another dimension but it's still a part of yourself-your own farther consciousness that I named as the Nexus Consciousness.

The dimensions I've mentioned are the other doors that would appear to a person who is currently in their deep thoughts after holding the ball of heat. The doors contained another room, like, if you want to see a glimpse of the spirit world; find the door filled with stars. Or if you would like to see a part of the underworld then try finding a black door. If you want to enter something, you just have to find their designated doors-you can even find a memory door in that place. There are a lot of doors so be careful if you want to try one.

Don't forget, the action you're about to take is called self-actualization which will bring out your full potential as a mage. If you want to do it, just follow my instructions. There's no need to worry. It's just that after you fall into a deep concentration, your soul will wander inside your consciousness-or what I called Nexus. If you ever encounter anything unusual, don't panic and be brave. That's your own body so everything will be under your control. I promise that you'll leave that place unscathed."
