Tinignan ko si Aaron ng diretsyo sa mata
Natigilan sya dahil sa tingin ko "Why so serious, Genesis?"
"You know my Mom from the very beginning right?" diretsyong tanong ko
Umupo sya sa single couch na katapat ng kinauupuan ko "What do you wanna know?"

Tumango sya "I knew this day would come. Sorry for keeping this to you----"
"Cut the bullshits, Mendez" putol sa kanya ni Simon
"I'm Aaron Mariano, the younger brother of Allen Mariano"
Napatitig ako sa kanya "W-what?"
"Your Mom asked me to protect you na imbes na ikaw ang puntiryahin ng organisasyon sya nalang"
Namuo ang galit sa dibdib ko at kunot noong tinignan sya. Halo-halo ang emosyon na nararamdaman ko. Sakit. Inis. Galit...para akong tinyardor ng mundo na kahit kaligtasan ko ang iniisip nila, hindi ko parin matanggap

"Genesis, your Mom asked for this. Tita Monique wanted to keep you safe----"

Natigilan ako at napatitig ulit sa kanya
"S-sister? How?" tanong ni Kuya John
"Aaron Mendez Mariano. Anak ako sa labas ni Monica Mendez-De Leon kay Arthur Mariano"
Napailing ako at hinilot ang sentido ko

"Dad knew that I'm friends with Genesis. Una pa lang sya na ang target. Hindi nila alam na magkapatid kami ni Ate Monique, hindi ko pinaalam kasi natakot ako na baka mapahamak kayo. We pretended that we didn't know each other kapag kaharap kayo. I'm really sorry"
Bumuntong hininga ako at tumayo na "Thanks for being honest but I have a question..."
"What is it?"
"Kalaban ka ba?" tanong ko ng nakatingin ng diretsyo sa mata nya
"No" seryosong sagot nya
Tumango ako "If I eliminate the members of you family, babaliktad ka ba?"
"I don't like Allen and I hate Dad but...he's still my father"
"We'll see how far I can do to your family, Aaron. I don't know if I can control myself" sabi ko at umakyat sa taas
