Special Chapter 001

Warriors of Iriedon

"Give way, to the strongest warriors of Iriedon!" The guy announces before the horses entered the walled city of Iriedon. Iriedon is the city built from the ashes of Marley. "Can you believe it Axel? We overcame all two hundred thousand people, and gain the power of the titans?" A young Leone asked as he waves at the crowd. Gustav just chuckled before turning his gaze to his friend, Axel. "Don't be too shaggy about it, Leone. I did what I was told to. After this, I'll go back to my dad." Axel replied as he looks uninterested in his friend's current whereabouts. As soon as they arrived at the crowned king's castle, they immidiately got escorted to the court room to have a talk with the king himself. "Ah! The lucky warriors who survived the test." The king exclaimed. The three of them bowed, except Axel. "Axel, lower your head!" Rocco whispered as he warns his friend about it. Axel scoffed, and that scoffed turned into a laughter, confusing the people inside the court, alongside the king. "You know I can kill you all right here, right now, right?" He said while crossing his arms over his chest. "I did what I was told to do. Now give me back my father." He continued before walking towards the king. The highness' guards blocked him from getting any closer. His friends looked at him with worried and fear. The king lets out a chuckle before shaking his head. "You can't have your father back, unless you finished this one last task." After saying that, he earned a groan from the winners. Gustav cleared his throat before asking the king. "W-what is that task, your highness?" The kimg then turned around and pulled the sheets behind him, revealing a map of an island. "Here lies the remaining demons on this world. The same kind of species that wiped out ancestors. The same kind Eren Jaeger has." He said as he clenches his fist into a ball. "What about it?" Axel asked again. The king turns around to face him, grinning at the stubborn guy. "You'll only get your father back if you succeed to wipe them all out. But if you fail, say goodbye to your precious father and yourself as well." With that sentence, is enough to put Axel back into his place. The king smirked before handing them a sack of gold. Enough to feed them for a week or two. "If that's not enough, we'll send you a supply as soon as you leave for tomorrow. You are dismissed." Axel gave the king one warning look before walking out of the castle. As soon as they got out, Leone pinned Axel to the wall. "You could've gotten us killed back there thanks to your mouth!" Leone said as he holds Axel on his collar. Gustav was trying to seperate the two, but failed. "This is not the time to argue. We still have a task to do." Rocco said as he grabs Leone's arm. But the latter shoved him away, making him fall on the ground. Axel then delivers a knee on Leone's torso, freeing from his grip. "You wouldn't understand because you only care about yourself!" Axel said before kicking Leone hard on his skull, knocking him off. Axel scoffed before walking away from his friends. "He just need some time off. He's been like that ever since we finished the mission." Rocco said before asking Gustav for help in carrying Leone back to their barracks.
