Chapter 007

Old Foe

Days becomes weeks, and weeks becomes month. The new rookie members of the survey corps has finally and successfully accomplished everything their commanders has taught them. Now, they are assigned to guard at the top of the wall. They are divided to 6 members per 4 group. Jiro, Yukan, Leone, Natasha, John, and Conrad was told to patrol at the north wall, also called the Tybrum District. They are currently repositioning the cannons, facing them on the direction the titans are coming from.

"Conrad, why did they put you here again?" John asked in a teasing way. Conrad just sighed before throwing a piece if pebble on John's head. "What was that?!" The lad asked with Natasha holding him back from hitting Conrad back. I just chuckled at how childish they fight. They've been fighting since yesterday, after the sparring match against Axel. They were only stopped when Leone cleared his throat, turning out attention towards him. "If you two continue fighting over nonsense, Captain Ezumer's not gonna let you take a bite of those juicy steak he promised." He said in a serious tone. Finally, the two stopped fighting. Only a piece of steak can resolve their problem. Natasha approached me, her mouth watering. "Jiro, if we start working together, we'll have the chance to take a bite of that juicy stake." She said while fidgeting her fingers infront of me. I chuckled before nodding at her. I then turned my attention over the horizon, repeating the promise I told myself. I'll kill every last of them. "Okay, I think our work here is done." I told everybody as I faced them. Then, a lightning striked right behind me, I saw their faces both in shock and fear. I tilted my head at the side before I felt a warm air blowing from behind. I slowly turn my head, coming face to face with the titan that caused all of this in the first place. "Y-you again!" The titan then released a hot steam, blowing us off the wall. We're glad that we have our ODM with us and used it to anchor our body on the wall. A loud explosion was heard and the bottom of the wall has been breached......again. "T-The gate has been destroyed?" I said to myself. As the dust cleared off, the hole the titan created has been exposed. "The titans will enter the district! Guard the walls, I'll take care of the Colossal Titan." I instructed them before maneuvering my way back on the top of the wall.

I am now standing face to face with the creature that caused all of this chaos. I gave him a knowing smirk before grabbing both of my blades. "Hello, it's been 2 years huh?" I shouted before shooting my ODM on his left cheek, anchoring myself. Propelling myself around it's head to slice open the neck, since that is where their weak spot is. "I'm gonna destroy you, you fucker!" As I was about to slice his nape open, it releases a huge puff of smoke before completely....evaporating. I quickly went back on top of the wall, to meet up with the others. "How is everyone?" "We have successfully boarded them on a boat towards the inner district." Yukan replied before we all went down the breached wall. The hole is bigger than the last one. We took a step back as soon as the titans started coming in. "Get ready everyone! This will be a hell of a fight." I said before we all started to attack the titans, targeting their weak spot as we should do. This time, I won't hold back. I'll kill them all.
