Alex POV
A lot has happened since March. Angelica has started seriously training and studying to become a police officer, John's arm has fully healed, thank God, I got full marks for my exams which no one was surprised by except me and I haven't had a panic attack in two months!

The medication is actually working which is great for me. Today is Bellas 6th birthday so I'm heading over there after school. She started school not too long ago and has made a few friends, she's smart for her age.

School ends and George gives me a ride back to his place. As we enter Bella comes running up to me and hugs me. "Alexander!" she exclaimed excitedly. "Hey there! Happy birthday. Six is a big number." I say and she smiles.

I hand her a small box which is the present I got her, she looks at it for a minute and then takes it, "Is it for me?" she asks and I nod, "Yeah, it's your birthday present." I reply. "But mommy and daddy already gave me one this morning." she says, "Yeah, this one is from me."

She hugs me again and we walk to the second living room and sit down, she unwrapped the box and opens it, it's a silver locket with her name on it. She looks at it fascinated, I help her open the locket, "You can put pictures inside of it." I say.

I put it around her neck and she looks at it again. "Can I put a picture of you in it?" she asks, "Well, of you really want to, but you can put a picture of anything in it." I reply, she smiles and hugs me again, "Thank you, Alexander!" she says cheerfully.

Martha and George walk back in and sit down on the couch, they hand more presents to Bella, she just stares at them confused. "Well, go on, open them!" Martha says excited. She doesn't question it and opens the presents.

"This was the best birthday ever!" Bella exclaims, it's almost five and I called John to come pick me up. "Thank you!" she says. The door knocks and I open it, "Hey." John says kissing me, "John!" Bella yells running to him.

"Hey there! Happy birthday." John says as she hugs him around the waist. "We should get going. I'll see you soon." I say hugging Bella one last time and exiting with John.

"Have fun?" he asks as we climb into the car and take off. "Yeah, it's always nice to spend time with them." I say and he smiles. "Well, if you're in the mood, I have a surprise waiting at home for you~"

I look at him for a second then smile, "Sure." I reply.
