Marina POV
The guards drug me away from Thorin. I was terrified. They were going to torture me in front of Thorin. I was dragged down to the torture cell. The guards chained my arms up to the ceiling and my feet barely touched the ground. One of them chuckled darkly. "Bélíth nae thiêr!" He said to his friend. I had no idea what he said but I'm guessing it wasn't good. The door was kicked open and a restrained Thorin appeared he was strapped to a chair, being made to watch whatever suffering the elves were going to put me through. I looked at him, terrified. He looked back and his face bore the same expression. "What are you going to do to me?" I asked as the gaurds approached. One of them chuckled. "Something that men enjoy most out of women." My eyes widened and I thrashed about, trying to get away. One of the guards touched my stomach, while the other caressed my cheek. Thorin was yelling at them, cursing them in Kuzdūl. They took my leggings off, and I screamed.
After what seemed like hours, they finally stopped. I couldn't walk so they dragged me back to my room. Spots invaded my eyes, and I passed out the second I was thrown into my cell.
Thorin POV
I have never hated Elves this much. They raped Marina in front of my very eyes. They drug me back to my cell and I saw two other guards throw Marina into a cell across from me. I heard her land with a thud and a gasp and then nothing. I was locked in my cell and immediately after the guards left, the company burst into questions. "Thorin what happened to Marina?!" Kili gasped. I didn't answer. My mind was filled with her terror striken face and her screams.
Kili POV
Uncle didn't answer my question. My cell was on the other side of Marinas. I heard her whimper. "Marina? Marina?" I whispered. I heard another whimper. "What did they do to you?" I begged. She didn't answer, just kept whimpering quietly.
Thorin POV
I am anxious to get to Marina. I feel so guilty. I couldn't do anything. I was tied to the chair, forced to watch her suffer and be beaten and whipped.
Just then Bilbo appeared with keys to get us out. He let Kili out first, then Marina and everyone else. I was last. As soon as he opened my door I rushed to her cell. Almost all the company stood at her door, afraid to go in. She sat huddled in a corner staring at all of them in fear. Kili stepped forward and she shrank into the corner. I pushed through the dwarves and slowly crept toward her. She looked at me, terrified, then she recognized me and her fear-filled eyes slowly morphed into eye filled with sadness and pain. She slowly backed away from me. I heard Kili ask waht happened, but I didn't answer. I kept my eyes on Marina as I slowly crept closer to her. She was in shock, and I knew it. I gently reached out and touched her hand. She jumped and pulled away. I touched her hand again, and when she didn't back away I grasped it and slowly pulled her into my arms. The second she was in my arms she clung to me and started sobbing hysterically as she clutched my tunic. I gently rubbed her back. I picked her up and stood up. "Lead the way master Baggins." I said hoarsely. The company stared in confusion and shock. "Your going to catch flies. Move!" I barked, my voice breaking at the end. Everyone started to move and follow Bilbo. Marina started to stop crying. "I can walk on my own." She whispered. I gently sat her down. After one step, she collapsed and I caught her. "Ok... Maybe I can't." She said quietly as I carried her down the stairs.
We were in the cellar. Bilbo told us to get into barrels. The company started to bicker and I ordered them to do as Bilbo said. They grumbled and got into the barrels. I gently lifted Marina into one and when I turned to get into another, I realized that she had no intention of letting go of my shirt. I climbed into the barrel with her. Bilbo released a lever that dropped us through the floor into the river. When we fell, Marina gasped and clutched onto me for dear life. "I've got you." I whispered into her ear as I tightened my hold around her waist. We started down the river as soon as Bilbo fell through the floor as well. "Well done master Baggins." I said as we slowly started down the river, Marina holding onto me as if I was her life line. In a way, I was.
