Marina POV

Kili suddenly slumped over. I panicked. "Kili? Kili!!" Fili yelled, supporting his little brother. I put my hand to Kili's brow. "Fili hes burning up. He needs help!!" Bofur and Fili supported Kili while I knocked on doors. No one would help us. We finally came to Bards house. I took a deep breath and banged on the door. Bard opened it and saw us. "No. I've had enough of dwarves." And he tried to shut the door in our faces but I grabbed it. "Please, no one will help us. Kili's sick... Really sick." Bard looked at Kili and sighed. "Fine. Come inside." Fili and Bofur carried Kili inside. I was really worried about him. "Kili... Let me see your leg." I ordered, remembering his arrow wound. Kili shook his head. "Its nothing." He moaned. I grabbed his leg and took off the bandage. My eyes widened. The arrow had been poisened. A Morgul shaft. Crap. "Kili you idiot. Why didn't you let me see it?" I asked. Kili moaned. "Its not bad Marina...is it?" I bit my lip and fingered the Thorin's ring, hanging on a chain aroung my neck, as it was too big for my finger. I looked down at Kili. "Bard I need something to bring down his fever. Kingsfoil...have you got any?" Bard looked through his herbs. "No its a weed we feed it to the pigs!" Bofur looked up. "Weed...pigs...right! Don't move!" He said to Kili, who looked at him in pain." I rolled my eyes and pushed Kili down, he had tried to sit up. "Kili, DONT MOVE!" I snapped. Kili moaned and looked at me. "I...need...to...get...up!" He moaned and tried to sit up again. I immediately pushed him back down. "Just don't." I warned. He looked at me in defeat. Suddenly Kili started crying out in pain. I freaked. The poison is spreading too fast. "Fili! Hold him down!" I yelled as I pushed Kili down. One of Bards girls slammed the door screaming. And orc pushed it open. I instantly had my twin swords out. Orcs came crashing through the ceiling. I tried to kill as many as possible. There were too many! Suddenly that red haired elf burst in. Kili yelled out and I killed the orc that had grabbed him. Prince Legolas came in and soon all the orcs were dead. I looked at the two elves. "We do not need your help." I said lowly. Legolas cocked an eyebrow. "Tauriel. Let us go." Kili was yelling out in pain. "We're losing him!" Fili yelled. Legolas went out the door. "Tauriel." Tauriel looked at Kili. I glared at her. "Not one more step." I threatened. Fili pushed me aside. "Can you help him?" He asked. I looked down at Kili. "Tauriel.... Can...can you help him?" I asked slowly. She nodded. I stepped aside slowly. "Please." I whispered. She stepped outside and came back with kingsfoil, and Bofur trailing her. "Hold him down." She ordered as we lifted him onto a table. He was thrashing around and screaming in pain. It ripped my heart out to see my best friend like this. Tauriel started chanting in elvish as she pressed the kingsfoil to his wound and he instantly screamed and thrashed about. I grabbed an arm as Fili and Bofur held his legs down. Bards girls held his other arm down. He slowly stopped fighting.

I looked up at Tauriel. "Thank you..." I whispered. Tauriel nodded to me. I left the room to the kitchen where Fili and Bofur now were. "That was close." I mumbled. Fili cocked an eyebrow at me. "Why didn't you let her help him right away?" I bit my lip and turned away. Tauriel looked at me. So did Kili. All eyes were on me. "You seem to not like me very much." Tauriel stated. "We are kin after all." I turned away, flashbacks filling my mind. "And I despise my elven half." I said darkly. Kili's eyes widened and he sat up. "What? Marina you don't mean that." He said. I looked at him. "Yes I do Kili." He frowned. So did Tauriel. "I do not understand how someone could hold such a hatred for their own kin and themselves." She said, her eyes burning into my soul. My eyes welled up with tears. "I hate elves. I hate anything to do with them." "But they are your kin!" She insisted. "MY KIN RAPED ME!!!!" I screamed, tears falling down my face. Instant silence. Tauriel looked shocked down to her core. Kili stared at me with huge eyes. Fili choked on the water he was drinking and Bofur's jaw dropped. Kili was the first to do anything. As I sank to the floor in tears he hauled himself to his feet and limped over to me. He knelt down and gently hugged me. "Hey...hey...I'm so sorry. I'm so sorry." He hugged me tight and rocked me back and forth. Tauriel looked at me. "I am so sorry. I did not know." Fili handed me a handkerchief and rubbed my back. Suddenly the whole house shook. My eyes flew open and I looked at Kili. "Smaug." He whispered, eyes wide. We stood up and Tauriel looked at me. "We have to get out of here." I nodded. "Yes we do, or we're dead."
