Imagine #2- Heartbreak Remedy

Hi, I'm Nikki Richards. I'm Josh's sister and I live at Sway with the rest of the Sway boys. Josh wanted me to stay with him, but I decided not to since the actual Sway house is a lot more fun. Well, I've been spending a lot of time with Kio. Not in that way since he has a girlfriend, plus I love Olivia. Recently he's been down and no one knows why. I texted Olivia but she said she wasn't sure. The boys keep trying to ask, and I keep trying to tell them to give him space, but they won't listen. Today, I decided that I've had enough and Kio WILL tell me what's going on with him. I woke up, showered and changed.

I put my hair into a high ponytail and walked to Kio's door. I knocked and no answer. I knocked again.... No answer. I opened the door and seen Kio in the corner of his room in a ball crying. I closed his door and ran over to him. I crouched next to him and pulled him closer to me.
Nikki: Kio.
Kio: What?
N: Kio, talk to me.
K: We're already talking aren't we.
N: You know that's not what I meant. Why are you crying in the corner of your room with the door locked?
K: Can we not talk about it?
N: No. Tell me.
K: What? I can't just cry because I feel like it.
N: You don't. Look at me in my eyes, and tell me there is nothing wrong with you and I'll leave you alone.
K: If I tell you will you leave me alone?
N: Maybe. What's going on?
K: Why do you care?
N: Because you're my friend. And I'm sick of you being locked in your room when you could be having fun with the rest of us. So tell me what's wrong.
K: Me and Liv broke up.
N: What? I just texted her yesterday and asked what was up with you and she said she had no idea.
K: We broke up.
N: Oh Kio, I'm sorry.
K: I just don't get why. Like we were fine, then out of no where all we did was fight and argue. Then a couple days after she got accepted into Hype, we broke up.
N: I'm really sorry K.
K: I gave her everything I had. I gave her my heart and she broke it in half.
After that sentence left his lips, he broke down. I pulled him into a hug and he cried into my shoulder. I rubbed his back and tried to be as comforting as possible. But how exactly do you comfort someone that just got their heart broken? After a few minutes he calmed down and pulled away from my shoulder.
N: You okay? You know, for now.
K: Yeah. I think I'm gonna lay down though.
N: K. I'll come check on you later.
K: Thanks.
N: No problem.
I left Kio's room and went downstairs and seen the boys all talking in the kitchen. I sat down on the counter and asked what they were talking about.
N:What are you talking about exactly?
Bryce: We're thinking of a plan to get Kio to tell us what's up with him.
N: I already found out.
Josh: Spill then.
Jaden: Yeah I wanna know what's going on with him.
Anthony: We all do.
N: Him and Olivia broke up.
Quinton: That's not possible. They were literally fine a few days ago.
N: They broke up right after she got accepted into Hype.
Blake: So she used him?
N: Now wait a second Blake. Just because the timing is a little coincidental doesn't mean she used him. He said they were fighting then they broke up. And don't bring it up if and when I drag him out of his room.
After our talk, we all watched a couple movies. It was starting to get late so the boys decided to go to bed and I went to go check on Kio. I opened his door and seen him in a ball on his bed bawling his eyes out. I closed his door and climbed onto his bed next to him. I pulled his head to my stomach and started playing with his hair and rubbing his back and shoulders. He calmed down after a few minutes.
N: You okay now?
K: No.
N: What's wrong?
K: What do you think?
N: I get it, okay, I do. You feel like it was your fault and you didn't do everything you could. Kio, sometimes things just don't work out. Maybe this was a sign the timing wasn't right. Maybe you'll end up together again when its better for both of you.
K: But you don't get it. You don't know what its like to love someone. You don't get what it feels like to give a relationship your all, and it still doesn't work. There's nothing left in me. I don't have anything left to give.
N: You know what you're right. I don't know what its like to love someone in a relationship. But I have you guys. I have friends. Sometimes friendships are just like relationships, sometimes they don't last forever. Sometimes you could give something your all and it won't work, to where there's nothing left in you.
K: I guess.
N: How about this? You go shower, and when you get out, we go to my room and we eat junk food, watch movies and cuddle.
K: Right now? You realize its like midnight right?
N: Yes right now. You smell. So do it by choice or I will make Noah drag your ass into that bathroom.
K: Okay.
I went to the kitchen and grabbed bags of popcorn and put them in the microwave and a couple bags of chips. I went to the fridge and grabbed a few pops and a bottle of vodka for Kio and tequila for me. After I grabbed the drinks, I put all of the bags of popcorn into a bowl and took everything to my room. I got extra blankets and pillows just in case. I texted all of the boys to meet in ny room and if they wanted snacks then bring some. I think Kio needed to hang with all of the boys and me, especially since the boys were worried about him. I put on a movie and waited for Kio. After 10 minutes Kio walked in and flopped on my bed.
N: Okay. So I have Redbulls, Vodka, or any pop you want.
Kio: Vodka.
N: I figured.
Kio: Thanks for all of this. You didn't have to.
N: But I did.
Bryce: Party's here! Bryce yelled as him and the boys came into my room. They set up the blankets and pillows on the floor and everyone got comfortable. Me, Kio, and Bryce were on my bed and the boys were either on my two bean bags or on the floor. Bryce ended up falling asleep on my chest and the boys ended up past out halfway through the second movie. I looked over and seen Kio asleep too. I shut off the movie and fell asleep. I felt bad about Kio and it turns out what he needed was time with all of us. That mixed with Vodka is the perfect remedy for heartbreak.
