I always pretended that I didn't know what Jaden did behind my back.

And I watched as you felt the scene,

I knew what he did was wrong. But I didn't care. And maybe I should have.

Adultery is a crime. Maybe not as serious as murder. But its the worst pain anyone can go through.

You used me as an alibi
I crossed my heart as you crossed the line
And I defended you to all my friends

I defended him every time someone brought it up. I thought maybe if he seen that I was loyal, he'd stay.

But now everytime a siren sounds

The sad part is, I see and hear things that remind me of him....and I'd do it all over in a heartbeat.
