beep beep beep*
Ugh, I reached over and turned off my alarm clock. I went to go shower since it was a game day and I need energy. I showered and changed into my uniform and packed my bag since it was the homecoming dance afterwards.

I walked into the kitchen and got on my phone until my brother got downstairs.
Bryce: Do you have to wear that?
Emily: Yes. I'm the cheer captain.
Bryce: You're showing too much skin for a high schooler.
Emily: Don't be a Karen and let's go. We have to do over our routine again this morning and I'm not in the mood for your bullshit.
Bryce: Okay. Fine let's go.
Me and Bryce drove to school and I went to the gym to practice our routine. We nailed in it three tries, shocking normally the girls have their heads up their asses. I walked out of the gym and to my locker and seen Josh waiting for me. Me and Josh have been best friends since jr high. He's the quarterback for the football team and he's pretty bad ass.
Emily: Morning Josh.
Josh: There's my favorite cheerleader.
Emily: That's because I'm the only cheerleader that will talk to you.
Josh: Rude.
Emily: I know.
Josh: Now I know why everyone's afraid to talk to you.
Emily: Of me? I'm sorry I can be a bitch or asshole, but I'm just being honest.
Josh: I know, but you come off really bitchy.
Emily: Thank you.
Josh: That wasn't supposed to be a compliment.
Emily: I know, but I took it as one.
Josh: Of course you did.
Emily: You still going to the dance?
Josh: Yeah, you?
Emily: Yeah. After we do our routine and the game ends, I'm getting my hair and nails done.
Josh: You're gonna have time? You realize we only have an hour after the game right?
Emily: Yeah. I already have the base for my nails all they have to do is put the polish on and then my cousin is wanding my hair.
Josh: You ways have everything planned out.
Emily: If you don't, then its just a giant shit show.
Josh: True. You've seen your fair share of shit shows.
Emily: Ugh, don't remind me.
Josh: Someone has to.
Emily: Now I know why no girls will talk to you.
Josh: You're a bitch.
Emily: Thank you.
Josh: Not a compliment.
Emily: You should know I take it as one by now.
Josh: You're right.
Emily: Tell me something I don't know.
Josh: Alright. You, me, dance dates.
Emily: Is that your way of asking me to the dance?
Josh: Yeah.
Emily: Deal.
Josh: Good because that would've been awkward.
Emily: You could've just asked me.
Josh: Yeah, but what's the fun in that.
Emily: Whatever Richards. I'm gonna get to class.
Josh: I'll pick you up at 9.
Emily: Later Josh.
Josh: Later.
I walked to class and listened to the teacher drone on and on about something I really don't give a shit about. The whole day went by like that until the game. At halftime, our cheer squad was supposed to perform......but it rained. Of all fucking days today. The girls were bickering about it, you know being bitchy and well, girls. I decided we were doing to routine, in the rain and since I'm the captain whatever I say goes. We did our routine,(^video at the top^) and finished just in time. The boys came back onto the field and me and the girls went to the locker room to warm up at least for a little bit.

The boys won, which doesn't surprise me. I bolted to my car and drove home so I could get ready for the dance. I pulled into my driveway and jumped in the shower. After I showered I put my dress on and then my nail tech and cousin got there.

I had on pretty silver heels to go with my dress and my nails were short and royal blue. My makeup was just a little bit of blue with mascara and glittery lip gloss.

I walked downstairs and seen everyone waiting for me. My mom started crying, like she does every year. I heard a knocking the door and I went to go open it revealing Josh. Josh looked, HOT. Is it wrong to say that about my bestfriend? Oh well......I don't give a fuck. I mean I've liked the dude since 8th grade. So yeah, I. Don't. Give. A. Fuck.
Josh: Wow.
Emily: You don't look bad yourself Richards.
Josh: And there she is.
Emily: You know me. I gotta ruin something.
Josh: Well, you ready to go?
Emily: Yeah, bye guys.
I walked out with my arm linked with Josh's and the other holding my clutch bag. We got to the car and jammed out in the way to the dance. We eventually got there and took the picture at the entrance. We danced for a few songs and ate like fat asses. Then our song came on. I'm not sure why, but our song is The Blues Man by Alan Jackson. We exchanged a glance at went to the middle of the floor. We started dancing, then out of no where the music stopped and everyone made a circle around me and Josh.
Emily: Uh, Josh...... What's going on?
Josh: There's something I wanna tell you. He said backing up, but still holding onto my hands.
Josh: I'm not sure why I've waited so long to tell you this, but I can't wait anymore. The way you walk into a room and it lights up, the way your smile makes me smile, the way you can be a total bitch and still be nice makes you impossible. Sometimes I swear you're the prettiest girl I've ever seen, and all I really want to say is I love you. I've loved you since we were 14. So will you be my girlfriend?
Emily: Of course I will Josh.
I pulled Josh closer and pulled him in for a kiss. A kiss that I've been waiting for, for a long time, like too long a time. We pulled away and everyone clapped for a few seconds then the song started back up. We danced and had a good time for the rest of the night. I swear I will marry this man.

Emily: And that girls is how I started dating your dad.
Sophia: He really did all of that for you?
Josh: Of course I did.
Alexis: I hope I meet someone that will do that for me.
Emily: You should here pretty soon, I mean you are 15.
Josh: That's way to young.
Sophia: Then when Dad?
Josh: When you move out of my house.
Emily: Girls, I told you this because 1: you wanted to know and 2: you girls aren't little anymore.
Alexis: Clearly mom. We're 15.
Emily: Anyway. My point is, you girls are responsible and more mature now. We made the decision that if you girls want to have boyfriends, then, you can.
Josh: But, we have rules. Not too many. You can only stay out until 11, 12 if you get our permission. And we have to meet them before you can be alone out with him.
Alexis: I guess that's fair.
Emily: I'm glad you guys understand the rules.
Sophia: So, since you have rules now, can I bring someone by the house sometime next weekend?
Josh: What's his name?
Sophia: Nolan.
Emily: That's fine with us. Now up to bed girls.
Sophia: Okay, goodnight.
Alexis: Goodnight parentals.
Emily: Goodnight girls.
Josh: Goodnight.
The girls rushed upstairs leaving me and Josh in the living room. We decided to head up to bed after watching a movie and soon fell asleep.
