basically just a whole book of fluff. (chapters will be short but that means there'll be a lot)

george smiled. placing his book down, he redirected his attention towards the teacher.
"mr davidson?"
"hm?" he shook, startled.
"the answer?"
"uhhh," he fumbles, confused.
next to him, his friend nick, cleared his throat.
"sir, george was really busy all night with me, we were helping a friend move out of their house," nick lied.
"he's probably really tired." he finished as he set his hands back in his lap, giving george a quick look.
george gave nick an appreciative glance.
"if you say so." mr fender said as he raised an eyebrow.
"just try to pay attention." he said.
george nodded and mouthed a quick thank you to nick.

as the bell rung for lunch, george grabbed his things, heading for the cafeteria.
hearing footsteps reach behind him, his friend nick appeared.
placing his hand on george's shoulder he leaned forward, taking a breath.
"next time when you let a cute boy distract you, i'm not helping."
george blushed, glaring at nick.
lightly cuffing him on the shoulder, george huffed.
"well thanks anyways."
"so. are you gonna?"
george cocked his head confusedly.
"what?" he sat down at their table, nick sitting acrost him.
"you gotta talk to him."
"who?"
george tried to play it off.
"you know who."
"clay?"
nick giggled. "of course you idiot."
george huffed as he took a bite of his sandwich.
"i guess i'll talk to him."
