The day faded into night in Woodsboro. The orange glow from the sunset casted a calming light across the small down as the shadows crept along the ground from the trees that sheltered the beams. The Sheriff's office hadn't issued a curfew yet, so teenagers still walked the streets and met up with friends. Children still played in the park with their friends until their parents came and took them home.

Demi sat with Tegan and Isla at the bench near the gazebo in the towns centre. Others turn and look at them as they laugh loudly.

Tegan Morgan is a 17-year-old. She is entertaining and creative but can also be very rude and a bit impatient. She is very popular, having been labelled as one the prettiest girls at school she allows herself to walk over those under her to get what she wants.

Tegan has long straight blonde hair, a thin figure with bright blue eyes.

Isla Castillo is a 16-year-old who enjoys travelling and reading. She is energetic and reliable but can also be very untrustworthy and a bit grumpy. Unknown to Tegan, but Isla despises her for the way she treats others. Demi is aware of this.

Isla has a more common look. She has short brown hair with green eyes, she typically wears jeans with a white singlet and black shoes. She prefers to keep her appearances simple yet tidy.

"Who do you reckon it is?" Isla asked.

Demi replied. "I reckon it's one of the jocks!"

Tegan scoffed. "No way, the boys in this town are stupid but not stupid enough to commit murder!"

"You don't know that. It could be anybody!" Demi responded.

"You don't know that. It could be anybody!" Demi responded.

"I vote on a girl" Tegan said.

Demi scoffed and went to speak.

"I vote on one of the movie nerds!"

They turned and saw Richmond standing there. Demi rolled her eyes.

"God. What do you want?" She asked with a furious tone. "You've been following me. I just knew it!" Richmond smirked and sat down with them. Tegan and Isla slid away and Demi just watched him with pure hatred. "You need to leave me alone, okay?"

"I'm just here to offer a pretty girl a relaxing walk home" he replied casually. He looked at the other two. "Offer stands for you all. But Demi gets special privileges".

Isla and Tegan exchanged looks. "On that note, Demi. We gotta go. Message us when you get home safe, okay?"

The three of them hugged. Her two friends walked off and she rolled her eyes and turned back around and looked at Richmond who was smiling brightly at her.

"I'm just here to offer some help. It's not safe out".

"From what? You?" She replied with a sassy tone.

He snickered darkly. "Maybe. Maybe not. Either way you're better off walking with me". She ignored his statement, grabbed her handbag and put it over her arm and began walking. He followed beside her. They walked across the grass. "Look, Demi. I don't want to be a creeper okay. I mean that, but it's seriously not safe".

"Welcome to 2020, nothing is safe. You can't go anywhere with the threat of someone, Richmond! I don't need your help!" She yelled.

His face went blank and he bit the inside of his cheek and stopped. "Fine. I'm sorry for trying to help. I won't bother you anymore" he said, he turned and walked off in a hurry. She watched as he reached up and wiped his face with his sleeve before crossing the street and walking out of sight.
