On my way to Joshua's room I suddenly bump into someone as I go through a corner.

'Oh my god, I'm so sorry.' I say, helping the girl up. But then, I suddenly realize her. 'OH! Middle finger girl!'

'Whoops!' She laughs as she stands up straight. 'I wasn't looking where I was going. Oh hey, it's you!'

She recognizes me? Wow.

'Are you here to visit your friend, the tomboy?'

'Yep!' she says excitedly. 'I visit her everyday. I am more loyal than my brother, honestly.'

That's for a fact. I think to myself. 

'And why are you here? Your gay friend or his brother? Hm, your gay friend looked perfectly healthy yesterday though. The brother?'

'How'd you know?' I ask in surprise.

'I know all the tea, always.' The girl smirks. 'Nice to meet you, what's your name?'

'Jay.' I blurt, completely forgetting that I'm supposed to pretend to be a girl.

'Wah, cool name. Pronouns?'

Dang, a Lara 2.0? 'He/him.'

'Wow, I was actually right. Are you comfortable talking about it, by the way?'

I nod, surprised that she's even asking. Honestly, I'm okay with talking about it to anyone. Except if they are gonna try to convince me I'm a girl. But she really doesn't seem like that kind of person.

'I'm Samantha, but pretty much everyone calls me Sammy. It's really cool meeting you. You know, I'm getting more and more surprised lately. Our boring black-and-white church has way more colour than I originally thought it had.'

'Oh, I only know Jamie and me though. And Joshua of course, the brother. As for the rest... a few suspicions?'

'Haha, let me guess. You ship my brother with Oliver, and me with Becky?'

'Um, well...'

'So do I! Great! You're my new friend now. When Sven finally figures out his feelings, I'll snatch his GF. She's kinda over him anyway and I can treat her way better. So hereby four of your suspicions have been confirmed now. I'm pan, Becky is bi, and Sven and Oliver have kissed each other more than Sven has kissed Becky, and that's only the times I was spying on them. So now, you know seven people who are rainbow in our church. Wait, did you say Joshua too? Are you guys together already?'

'Yeah.' I still blush when I think about it. I'm actually dating the love of my life, wow!

'Oh my god, my ship is sailing~' Sammy fangirls. She is even more overly energetic than I expected her to be judging from the sunday sermons. And quite bold, if I may say so. I like her. Even though I already did since she flashed her middle finger at the preacher for the first time... okay, not directly but it's still so d*mn brave though. And a Lara 2.0 indeed.

'Oh, and is Jamie really dating that Ian guy? I love Pizza Gang! He is so d*mn lucky!'

'Not yet.' I say. 'But well, that won't take long, I think. Jamie is one stubborn guy, but so is Ian.'

'How did they meet though?'

'He's roommates with Joshua.'

'No! For real? How? Wah, it's truly a small world. Gosh, I want to live there now.' Sammy's eyes are literally sparkling. 'I'm rambling too much, aren't I?'

'It's okay.' I assure her, laughing. 'It's nice to meet like-minded people.'

'Exactly, like that nurse that takes care of Becky...'

'Lara?'

'Yes, Lara! Oh, then you must be the transgender boy she talked about when we were talking about ships.'

'She talked about us?' Lara... 'Hey wait, then you and Becky must be the tomboy couple. Of course, I should have known! Then Becky is the one who lent me her binder! It's a small world indeed!' I realize with excitement.

'Holy cow!' Sammy shrieks. 'I may be an atheist but I believe in destiny now! Hey, when my brother sorts out his feelings and claims Oliver, let's leave this church altogether! Come here, give me your number.'
