Chapter Five

~~Monday Morning~

Gracie and Olivia have been working hard.

Gracie: "There's so much to do."

Olivia: "You can thank your boyfriend for that."

Gracie: "It's so weird to hear you so that."

Olivia: "Gracie, he's crazy about you."

Gracie: "It's been three days. I don't want to jinx it."

Olivia: "I don't think you're going to."

Gracie: "We spent the weekend together; that was it."

Olivia: "Gracie, you have to get out of your head. You can't let yourself ruin a good thing."

Gracie: "I'm trying not to."

Olivia: "Let's get back to work. I hear Mr. Badeaux is a complete ass."

Gracie's laughs hard.

Gracie: "I agree."

They spend a few hours working.

They are both working intensively; they both gotdistracted by Gracie's phone dinging.

Justice- "Hey, Beautiful. Are you busy?"

Gracie- "Yes. working for an asshole right now, Why?"

Justice - "That asshole is in your boss's office and would really like to have lunch with his girlfriend."

Gracie- "Hmm. We'll see I have a boyfriend, and he might get jealous."

Justice- "I can take him."

Gracie- "Give me ten minutes. I really need to finish this report."

Justice- "I'll be waiting."

Olivia knew who it was; she just wanted to be nosey.

Olivia: "Was that your boyfriend?"

Gracie: "Who else would it be?"

Olivia: "What did the sexy piece of meat want?"

Gracie: "Hmm, he is sexy, isn't he?"

Olivia: "Mmmhmm. What did he want?"

Gracie: "To go to lunch."

Olivia: "See, I told you had nothing to worry about."

Gracie: "Olivia, this is all new to me. I don't know what to expect."

Olivia: "I know. It's still very new to you. Don't panic and stay out of your head."

Gracie: "Ok, I'm finished. I'm heading out. How do I look?"
