~~Twenty-Four hours later~~
Dr. Hunter comes in and checks her.
Dr. Hunter: "Gracie, it's time to push. I'm going to need most people out; Justice can stay. Two others can stay. Who?"
Gracie: "Olivia and Rhonda."
She needed her "Mom" and "sister." Everyone left the room.
Gracie: "I feel so bad."
Justice: "They understand, Babe."
Gracie: "Your Mom should be here."
Dr. Hunter: "I will make an exception for her. Susie get Mrs. Badeaux so we can get started."
Susie goes and gets Belle.
Justice: "Thank you, Dr. Hunter."
Dr. Hunter: "I've seen the news. I know What's she's been through. I didn't even want to make her choose."
Mrs. Badeaux: "Thank you for letting me come in."
Gracie: "I'm so sorry, Belle."
Mrs. Badeaux: "Honey, you needed the two you chose. I don't hold It against you. I'm here now."
Olivia and Rhonda were on the left side. Belle and Justice the one the right.
Dr. Hunter: "Ok, so the two strongest I need at the top."
Justice and Belle switch places, and Olivia was already at the top.
Dr. Hunter: "Each of you grab a hand. One the count of three, I need a big push, Gracie."
Dr. Hunter: "1."
Dr. Hunter: "2."
Dr. Hunter: "3. Push Gracie."
They wait a bit.
Dr. Hunter: "I can see his head. I need another push, just like the one you just did. Push for me, Gracie."
Gracie pushes.
Dr. Hunter: "His heads out; give me another one, Gracie. Go ahead, push."
Gracie pushes.
Dr. Hunter: "One more."
Gracie repeats.
They hear him cry.
Dr. Hunter: "Dad, do you want to cut the cord?"
Justice cuts JJ's chord. All four women are crying.
Dr. Hunter: "Gracie, I need one more push to get everything out."
Gracie pushes.
Dr. Hunter: "Great job."
The nurses clean JJ up and hand him to Gracie.
Dr. Hunter: "He's adorable."
Gracie: "Thank you."
Gracie holds him for a while.
Susie: "We have to take him to get him weighed and stuff."
Gracie hands JJ to Justice. He kisses his head and gives him to Susie.
Justice Shiloh Badeaux Jr. 6lbs 9oz 23 1/2 inches long. Born at 5:15 pm.
