Dear journal
Today wasn't all bad. Mist an I became closer and I met another girl by the name of Pamela. She's gothic but she tried out for the cheerleading team. That was one of my achievements for today. I decided to tryout for the cheerleading team. It was more of a distraction for me, to get my mind off the thought of what happened last night. The best part was the fact that scare face didn't tell Klaus. I didn't know why, but I'm glad he didn't. He said he wanted to talk about what happened, an to be honest, I wasn't even sure of what happened myself.

Putting away my journal, I was reaching to switch off the light but instantly remembered what happened the night before. Instead, I reached under the vanity an unplugged it. Making myself comfortable in bed, I slowly drifted off to sleep.

"It's happening" I heard a voice say, it was faint but I heard it. My eyes slowly open, revealing a breath taking view. I was standing on the very end of a cliff, with a beautiful clear waterfall flowing down into a bright foggy lake.

"Breath taking isn't it" a voice said, startling me. Gazing over my shoulder, I saw a man sitting on a rock criss cross apple sauce with his hands clapped together in a peace sign. He looked to be in his early twenties with dark brown hair and calming brown eyes. "come, come, take a seat and meditate with me" he said, closing his eyes. Looking around, I slowly made my way over, sitting before him criss cross apple sauce.

"Who are you" I asked, tilting my head to the side. The strangest thing about him, was that he looked alot like someone I know.

"I think the question is who are you, there are things in this world that you'll never understand, Azaya. But you must understand this, the world is changing, people are changing. But things are never what they seem" he said, I was going to ask him what he meant, buy the unexpected happened. The bright blue sky was instantly turning grey, with lightening bolts shouting from all angles.

He had disappeared an so did the waterfall an all the beautiful scenery was replaced with darkness.

"Azaya" I heard a familiar male voice yell. "Azaya, Azaya run".

"I'm not leaving you" another voice exclaim. That's when I saw him. Rushing past me, i wanted to hold him but he ran right through me. A faint shadow was quick on his tail. While the crying girl tried to break free from the chain that held her back from running after him. "No......." The girl screamed, pulling harder at the chains. She pulled and pulled none stop until the the chains finally snapped. But by the time she broke free. It was already too late.

The ground beneath me, began to shake, a faint voice calling out to me.
"Azaya, Azaya, wake up"

I gasped, grabbing a hold of whatever was holding me. My eyes snapped open, to see my aunt staring down at me in panic. I sighed, running my hand over my damp forehead.

"Are you okay" she asked, searching my face in hope of answers.

"I'm fine, just a bad dream" I told her, she was hesitant, but somehow let it go.

"I'll go make you some tea" she said, getting up from my bed an left my room. Pushing myself up, I gazed over at the clock to see it was one in the morning. Walking out to my balcony, I sighed looking out at the empty street.

"Bad dream" I heard a voice say. Looking over the neighboring house, I saw Klaus leaning against the balcony railing wearing only a beach shorts. I flush at the sight of him, tucking my hair behind my ears.

"Yes" I replied softly, looking down at my hand, fiddling with my fingers. "Why are you up" I asked, slowly looking up at him. He smiled.

"Couldn't sleep" he simply stated, looking wide awake. "I wanted to ask you something" he said nervously, looking away from me. I tensed at his words. Did scar face decided to tell him after all. Was he going to ask me to stay away from him. What oh dare lord what.

         "Y-yes" I stuttered a bit nervous myself.

"I wanted to ask, if you wanted to go see a movie with me tomorrow. You know like a date" he asked, holding his breath. I was stunned to say the least. The heat rushing rapidly to my cheeks. He was really asking me out. Like on a date.

"Am" I hesitated, looking away from him. He was extremely sweet, an hasn't done anything bad are proven me wrong about him yet. So.... "I'd love too" I smiled looking up at him. He released a breathe, smiling at me.

"Awesome" he breathed out, running his fingers through his curls. "I'll pick you up at seven, since you have practice" he said.

"Sure" I smile " I better get some sleep, and so should you" I told him, about to head in.

"I'll try, goodnight princess, sweet dreams" he smiled, pushing himself off the railing and went inside. I blushed, turning on my heels an went back inside. My aunt was sitting on my bed smiling from ear to ear.

"What" I asked shyly, looking away. She chuckled, walking over to me and gave me a cup of warm milk.

"Klaus seems different around you, as long as I've known him, he's never smiled are spoken so softly to anyone before. You really bring out...the..best in him" she said, slowly realising what she was saying. I wasn't sure why, but she looked uneasy for some reason. "Just promise me you'll be careful" she said once she snapped out of whatever daze she was in.

"I promise" I smiled, she nod, running her cold hand up and down my arms before leaving me with my half cup of warm milk. I was still confused as to what she meant by I bring out the best in him.
