I sighed, gazing down at my Gucci sandals for the second time tonight. Millions of thoughts rushing through my mind at the earlier event. Why didn't he though. Was I rushing ahead of myself. I mean just because he's been nice to me doesn't mean he liked me. Maybe he just saw me more as a friend. That doesn't explain him asking me on a date though.

He could of just been sorry for me, or I heard him wrong that night. I did wake up from a bad dream maybe I just misheard him, an he really said hang out and not date.

"So" scar face began, trying to start up whatever conversation he wanted to have. I almost forgot he was here, I was so wrapped up about this whole night that I almost forgot he was the reason why I started walking.

"If you want to know what I am, I'm sorry because I can't help you" I told him truthfully, not taking my eyes off my sandals.

"By the looks of it, you don't know how to control it either" he pointed out the obvious. I groan, knowing he was extremely right. I knew absolutely nothing about whatever is happening to me. All I know is that the surges happen whenever I feel a spark running through me.

"I don't, it only started happening that same night" I told him, finally looking up at the clear night sky. "The surges, the lightening, everything. It's all new to me. Just knowing it's there makes me feel like a freak, like I don't belong" I sniffed, slowly wiping away the stray tears. I heard him sigh, grasping my elbow making me stop.

"Your anything but a freak Azaya. Whatever is happening to you, is happening for a reason. Why else would you be here. This city, was built based on myths and trilogies. Tomorrow I want you to take time out, an look at everyone around you. You'd be surprised to know your not the only one who's anything but normal. Besides, normal is overrated" he ranted, smirking at the last sentence. I was baffled by his words. Were there more. Am I not the only one. But what did he mean by this place was built based on myths and trilogies.

"What about you" I asked, tilting my head to the side a bit. He smirked turning to face me. Fully. I almost squealed, watching in shock as he teeth grew out into sharp fangs and his  light brown eyes visibly turning blood red. Just like the first time I saw him. "Your a vampire" I breathe out, losing breath at the thought of it. Was he going to hurt me. If so why didn't he do it yet.

"I am. Don't worry, we don't feed on people" he shrug, as he continued to walk. Did he just say we. As in there are others. But if they don't feed on people what do they feed on. "Though not everyone is the same. Just know, no one here will ever hurt you. Not even Klaus" the mention of his name made me think back to what happened the first day of school.

Of how they all had the same colour eyes. Was blue tip and Klaus vampires too. What the hell did I step into. No wonder he doesn't like me. I'm not his type. Was Mist and Pamela vampires too. But why didn't no one tell me this.

"But why am I here, I'm not a vampire, are any of that" I told him, trailing not too far behind him.

"I'm not sure what you are, but I do know this. You wouldn't have gotten accepted at River valley if you weren't like us. But you need to control whatever that is" he said turning to face me, pointing towards me. I could feel the surges starting to rush  through me slowly making its way up my neck.

"I need to go" I said, running away from there. I wasn't too far from my aunt's place, when I was knocked over but a strong gush of wind. That sent me flying into a nearby wall. I groaned in pain, as my body made contact with the hard ground. I struggled for a while, fighting to stand. But once I did, I realized that I was surrounded by three guys. I couldn't see there faces very clearly but I could see their figures getting closer.

My eyes burnt, sending a shock wave through the body.

"You lost beautiful" one of the guys said. I could only imagine the smirk playing on his lips. One of the guys lounged at me, but I was quick to dodge him. I was shaking with fear at this point as they came closer, one of them grabbing me from behind spinning us around an slammed me into the wall.

The surges within me got even worse. I could see bolts of lightening flashing in my eyes. One by one transformer boxes began to explode around us. Electric wires became lose, swaying all over the place. I could feel the guy behind me trembling.

"What's going on" I heard one of them yell. "Ahhhh" I heard him exclaim. The man behind me began to shake uncontrollable, sending a dangerous shock waves throughout my body. My body was soon released followed by a few loud thumps echoing behind me. Turning around, I gasped, covering my mouth at the sight.

All three guys were laying on the ground, with electric wires laying beside them still sparking. I wanted to check if they were okay, but I began to hear footsteps approaching. So I did what anybody else would do. I ran.

By the time I got back to my aunt's place. I was out of breath. Walking up the driveway, my mind getting the best of me, making me glance over at Klaus house. The yard was fairly empty, so I quickly made my way inside. Not bothering to stop by the kitchen. I made my way straight up to my room.

          This nightmare needs to end.
