Drip....drop..... The small dusty room was dimly lit with droplets of water dripping slowly into a small puddle at the far end of the room. It was only thing that could keep them sane at the moment.
Soft groans echoed through the room, all heads turning to face the source of the groan. Her eyes slowly opening, taking in her dull unwelcoming surroundings.
"Azaya" her sister called out, trying to rush over to her but was sadly held back by the shackles around her wrist and ankles. She hissed in pain as it brushed against her almost swollen wrist. Her eyes not once leaving her sister who looked to be deep in thought. How could she be so deep in thought while they were being held captive by god's knows who.
"Azaya" Pam breathed out, her throat burning at the sudden dryness. Muffled noises could be heard from the opposite side of the room where Mist was sitting. Since was a witch, she was only one wearing a gag with her fingers in a hand shaped shackle to keep her from casting spells.
"Azaya" her sister called again, grabbing her attention. Her head shot up taking in her surroundings slowly.
"Pamela, Mist. How'd you...." She trailed off, confused as to why they were here. What would he want with them.
"That's not important, we need to find a way out of here" Pam suggested, trying to use her strength but hissed in pain as her hands made contact with the silver shackles around her wrist. "Silver" she hissed, coughing at the end due to her dry throat.
"Are you okay" Anaya asked her in a worried tone. Though she didn't know them very well, it was in her nature to care for others well being. Pam nods, clearing her throat.
The sound of a heavy metal being moved from the other side of the door made the room fall in silence. The door was pulled open with great force, as a dark figure stood there glancing around the room. A smirk forming on his soft lips as his eyes made contact with the one person in the room that made his none existant heart beat.
As he walked closer, all he wanted to do was to have her in his arms and make her completely his. Taking her heart and making her just like him. In his mind they belong together. He wasn't sure why his boss wanted her, but he'd protect her from anything his boss had in store.
"My beautiful Azaya, it's been too long my love" he said softly, stooping to her level. A small smile playing on his lips as her reached out to brush the hair out of her face. Azaya shrieked, backing away from him. It's not that she was scared. But he disgusted her. Everything about him made her skin crawl.
"Leave her alone" Anaya exclaimed, hating the thought and sight of that man trying to touch her sister. Even with her bruising wrist, she wanted to reach out and grab him. But she couldn't.
"Shut up, you little pest" he spat at her, glaring daggers at the small girl in the far corner. She was nothing like her sister. But like twins, they both had a short fuse.
"Don't you dare talk to her like that" Azaya spat, her hatered towards him was growing by the minute. Her past experiences with him, was all flooding back and it disgusted her. Her head shot to the side, as his hand contacted with her left cheek.
"Azaya" Pamela exclaimed, trying to break free dispite the burning pain in wrists as she pulled on them. "Leave her alone you bastard" she yelled through a cough. Mist stood to her feet immediately, trying to break free. But with each try, she ended up failing.
"Don't you dare..talk to me like that Azaya. I might love you, but I'll still beat the shit outta you" he threatened, gripping her chin harshly to face him. His burning gaze boring into her dangerously. A familiar burning pain shot through her body wildly.
His hand contacting to her right cheek.
"Azaya" they girls exclaimed, wishing they could help her. Tear him to pieces.
"I'll make sure your punishment isn't as terrible as theirs my love. I'll protect you, I promise" he smiled, ignoring the girls.
"Go to hell" she said angrily through gritted teeth, spitting in his face. He scoffed with a small smile playing on his lips. His head tilted to the side as he chuckled dryly.
"I love you too" he said softly, standing up before her. "I'll be sure to visit" he smirked, turning on his heels and stroked off. Slamming the door shut behind him.
"Who was that guy" Pam asked, her voice cracking with each word.
"I don't want to talk about it" Azaya cried, hugging her shins close. All the horrible moments of her old life came flooding back. Mist sighed, looking over at her best friend. Crawling on her knees over to Anaya.
"Mmmm" she tried to call out to Anaya. Turning to face her she saw Mist gesturing for her to come close. Which wasn't very hard since they were closer together.
"Yes" Anaya asked, watching as Mist moved her eyes downwards continuously making her confused. She glanced down at the floor then back up at Mist. "what" she asked, impatiently.
"Taking the gag from her mouth child" Pam groaned out with a few coughs. Anaya nods talking the gag from her mouth.
"Finally, I felt like I was going crazy not being able to-"
"Less chit chat more wish wash" Pam rushed out, while Azaya sat there silently, watching the tears roll down her cheeks and onto the floor. Mist simply rolled her eyes and began to chant silently.
There shackles were the first to be removed, before the room surrounding them vanished. Teleporting them into an unknown forest.
"Where are we" Azaya asked, gazing around for any sign of human life. The forest wasn't like anyone she's ever seen before. The grass was purple with tree's of all shapes and sizes decorated white lights with there pink and black leaves. The path they stood on was made of golden.
"My magic garden, every witch has one. No one except me has access" Mist points out, leading the way to their destination.
"It looks like a box of crayons threw up in here" Pam said bluntly, sipping her glass of water given to her by Mist. Azaya and Anaya chuckled at this. Mist scoffed, stopping in her tracks and turned to face them.
"For your information, my dad helped me design it when I was a little girl" she sassed, turning on her heels and began to strode towards the house that was slowly appearing in the distance.
"Where is your dad" Azaya asked, a bit intrigued. She been to Mist's house many times and has only met her mother and baby sister Star.
"He died twelve years ago" Mist sniffed, wiping away the stray tear.
"I'm sorry, I didn't know" Azaya said softly, looking down at her hands. Pam's hand resting in her shoulder and gaze it a slight squeeze for reassurance.
"It's okay, I've gotten over it, he's gone and he died protecting the town so I'm not upset, I just miss him" she shrugged, pushing the gate to the two story mansion before them.
