Dear journal
Is it wrong. The fact that I'm blaming my mother for lying to us our entire lives. For not telling us that, that man wasn't my father. Harlem has been nothing but a sweet husband to my mother. Can't say he's been a great dad. I've never told anyone about the incident that happened years ago. I've tried forgetting about it. But it only started the depression. My mother pushed me over the edge years ago and brought me to a point in my life, were I question everything around me. Much to what I've been doing with Klaus. Questioning his liking towards me. I've been through a lot and trust me. You can't imagine the unspeakable things life pushed me to do."Go vixens, yeahhhhh" we cheered. While the football team came rushing off the field. More like they cheered, I was at the far end with my gaze fixed on an unknown stranger standing by my aunt. From where I stood, I could see the light reflecting off his light brown curls with broad shoulders and dressed in a well tailored black suit.
What idiot wears a suit to a football game.
I was pulled from my thoughts when a pair of hands wrap around my waist, pulling me back into a hard chest. I giggle knowing who it was instantly as sparks flow throughout my body.
"I missed you" he said softly in my ears, turning me to face him. I blush, looking up to meet his gaze. Turns out, all week the guys had practice since they were on the football team, which was kinda of a surprise when I saw Klaus running out with the team.
"I missed you too" I smiled up at him confidently. He grinned, bitting his lower lip.
"It's me and you tonight, I want to take you out to celebrate" he said, using his thumb to rube circles in my back, his other hand now cupping my cheeks, as he inched closer. I nod, trying to hide my excitement. But sadly failed. He chuckled, pressing his lips softly against mine. His soft pulp lips moving against mine as I did the same. His kiss was soft, sparking the butterflies within my tummy.
As he pulls away the crowd cheered. I wasn't sure why, the field was practically empty.
"My besties on the Jumbo Tron" Mist exclaimed, bouncing around. She tends to do that a lot, turning my attention to the Jumbo Tron where Klaus and I were the main entertainment. I flush, hiding my tomato red cheeks in his chest. His chest vibrated as a deep chuckle escape his lips.
"This has to be a joke" I heard Chanel scoff, not wanting to face her I pulled away from Klaus as he turned to face the witch without magic. "She nothing like us, she just a pathetic human" she spat. Not going to lie that hurts. Even if I wasn't human. That still hurts.
"Last time I checked Chanel, you were once human. You weren't a born werewolf, your a bitten one, that's why you don't have a mate" Klaus spat, taking a dangerous step towards her and away from me.
"At least I have abilities, what does she have. Other than a ugly face, she's nothing but a man stealing whore" she exclaimed angrily. I could feel the surges rushing through me at a rapid pace. How dare she. She knows nothing about me, yet she had the nerve to call me a slut.
"You need to stop looking in mirror's before arguing, cause you keep seeing your fake sculpture of a face" Mist snapped, moving to stand before me.
"She's way fucking better than you that's for sure, mutt. Don't make me put you in your place" Klaus growled.
"She needs to keep her sluttly hands to herself" and that's what broke the camel's back. Are the half sane girls back.
"That's enough" I exclaimed, releasing all the energy flowing through me. It sent a blast so strong Klaus was barely standing. All the lights on the field were cut. All heads snapped towards me in shock. The energy surrounded me in the form of a orange standing fox with nine tails.
"I'm sick and tired of you, thinking you're better than everybody, your nothing special. You bring people down to hide your insecurities when you're no better" my voice echoed, sounding more dangerous and demanding than it was suppose to."Azaya, baby calm down" Klaus said calmly, reaching out to touch me. I flinched back, too afraid I'll hurt him. A hand gripped my shoulder, startling me.
"Breath, Azaya. Your in control, not your fox. Take control" a deep voice said calmly from behind me. Closing my eyes, as I slowly tried to control it. "I know you can do it, I believe in you, just focus" the voice said again. Turning to face the owner, I recognized him instantly. His dark brown eyes and light brown curls resembling mine.
"Dad" I breathe out, he smiled, nodding down at me. Wrapping my arms around his waist, slowly calming down. This was really him. My dad, the man that our mother kept us from all these years.
I heard a finger snap and the lights flickered back on.
"Duran Kenzie" I heard kids gasp. I backed away, looking around to see everyone looking at my father in shock. I could hear kids murmuring among themselves not taking there eyes off my dad. I wasn't sure why though, he's just a man, in a oddly well tailored business suit.
"She's a Kenzie"
"How's that even possible"
"I can't believe he's out in public"
Klaus came up to me, resting his hand on the small of my back and pulled me back away from my him. Klaus's eyes were blood red, glaring daggers at my dad. I was confused. Why was Klaus behaving like this.
"Michaelson" my father said sternly with a blank expression. So Klaus's last name was Michaelson, why didn't I know this. I don't know much about him anyways.
"Kenzie" Klaus growled, pulling me close to him protectively.
"Prince" Mist grinned, earning a few staires. "what I thought we were just calling out last names" she shrugged, looking away.
