Dears journalToday was my first day as you may know. It didn't go as I expected. It went a lot better. I got a new friend named Mist. She's really nice. We get along really well so far an I'm hoping for the best. On another note. Turns out Klaus goes to my school. But the wierdest thing happened. I'm not sure if I want to believe it or not. But his eyes were deep red, resembling that of thick rich blood. It was scary yet fascinating. His two friends scare face and blue tip had the same eye colour an unbelievable strength. I'm not sure if my eyes were playing tricks on me, not i saw Klaus's eyes draining from blood red back to its oddly golden texture. I know this might sound hard to believe, but it's true. But what was even more shocking was the electric sparks I felt rushing through me as soon as Klaus hugged me. I'm not sure what to make of it, but i hope it's nothing serious.
"How was school today" my aunt asked, digging into her boneless chicken breast with rice and beans at the side. We were currently sitting around the dining table. My aunt was still dressed in her pants suit that she wore today.
"It was... school" I told her, unsure how to explain what I saw in the hall during lunch and how I ended up on the cat walk with Klaus and his friends.
"Made any new friends" she asked, I knew she was just trying to avoid the silence in the room. I nod an began to tell her about Mist. Though there wasn't much to tell.
After dinner, my aunt volunteered to wash up, I was hesitant but I grabbed my journal an made my way to my room. Dropping my journal on the vanity, I walked over to my balcony. Pulling the curtains open along with the balcony door. As soon the warm air brushed pass me into my room, I felt a shock wave rushing through my veins.
A shiver ran up my spin and I breathe out. It was odd, but I quickly brushed it off. Turning on my heals, an made my way to my vanity. Opening my journal, I pulled out one of my many pens and began to write.
I wanted so to tell my aunt what happened in the hall at school today, but I was scared, scared she wouldn't believe me, scared of what might happen, scared Klaus would hate me for getting him in trouble. I just wish-
Before I could finish the sentence, the lamp on my vanity began to flicker. Pushing the chair back, bending over an pulled the plug from the socket. Sitting straight, I reached out to take the cover off the lamp. Reaching out to touch the bulb, what I saw shocked me. There were flashings of light in the bulb.
I pulled my hand back forcefully, bending down to check if the lamp was really plugged out, and it was. Confused, I sat up an reached over once more, ready to twist the bulb. Once again there were flash's of light before the bulb exploded. I squealed, jumping out of my chair rushing to the other side of the room.
What just happened.
"Azaya, Azaya what's wrong" my aunt asked, rushing into the room. I wasn't sure if I should tell her, I mean. I made the bulb exploded, she'd think I belong in a looney bin. Who makes bulbs explode. Not someone sane.
"Nothing" I rushed out, her gaze landed on my vanity were the lamp an once working bulb sat. With glass pieces scattered over my vanity.
"What happened to the bulb" she asked, walking over to my vanity.
"I licked over the lamp by accident" I lied, looking anywhere but at her. I heard her sigh, telling me that she didn't believe me. But of course she didn't say it. "I'm going for a walk" I said.
"Be careful, I'll just clean this up an switch the bulb" she told me, running her fingers through her hair an left the room. I sighed, walking out behind her. As soon as I stepped out of the house, the warm evening breeze bashed against my fragile skin.
As I walked along the side of the road. I couldn't help the odd feeling I had in the pit of my stomach. The electric sparks rushing through me once more, making me shiver. My arms felt numb as the sparks became more unbearable. I hissed in pain, looking down at my hands.
I could see bright electronic waves rushing through my veins. My eyes widen at the sight. It looked like bolts of lightning were rushing through my veins. Feeling a sudden gush of wind blowing past me, my lose hair flowing all over the place and into my face. Quickly removing the hair from my face pulling it into a low ponytail with the rubber band on my wrist.
The surges were still rushing through me. Quickly tucking my hands away in my purple hoodie. Rolling down the sleeves to cover from my elbow down. Feeling another gush of wind blow past me, I almost fell.
"Azaya" I heard a familiar voice say softly. Gazing up at the unknown, I saw scar face staring at me in confusion. What was he doing here, an when did he get here. "Why are you out here this time of night" he asked, taking a step towards me. I gulped, taking a step back. I didn't want him to see what was happening to me.
He'd tell Klaus, then Klaus would probably not want to be around a freak like me. "What's going on with your neck" he asked, squatting his eyes to focus on me. My eyes widen, turning on my heels, I began to head back. I could hear his footsteps echoing behind me. "Azaya wait" he called after me.
"Leave me alone" I said shakily, swallowing the lump in my throat, walking faster.
"Azaya wait up" he called, this time his hand made contact with my shoulder.
"I said leave me alone" I exclaimed unwill fully angry, spinning to facing him as I bolt of what looks to be lightening burst through out of nowhere that sent him flying in a near by building. I gasp, tears rushing down my cheeks. My hands clasped over my mouth. Without thinking I turned on my heels an ran home.
What just happened?????
