When we got home, most of our pack knew about the new wolf. I opened the door and walked in. Most of my cuts had healed by now. I did say we fought which means little nips and clawing.

I opened the door and everyone was standing around, giving the guard a nervous glance. He was a guard after all.

My father spotted us. "Ah, Alima. You've returned from your hunting trip."

I gave him a weird look. "Hunting?"

My mother shot me a look. I heard her voice. "He doesn't know about your powers."

"Well why can't I just tell him?" I answered back.

"How would you react if your child told you they had mystical powers beyond our knowledge?" She was right.

"Oh the hunt! Right, we didn't catch anything." I spoke sadly. "But on the bright side I got to spend time with my mate."

I smiled and ruffled Dimitri's hair and he growled playfully.

My father smiled. "It's shame you didn't get anything, but bonding with your mate is for the best." He winked at us.

I widened my eyes. "Er...Dad? What do you mean by that?"

Dimitri smirked. w
What my father had said got the packs attention.

Jade walked up to me. "Wow Alima, in the forest? Was it while you were wolves or human?" She giggled a little.

My accusations on my fathers comment was correct. "We didn't!"

"We could've." Dimitri said.

"But we didn't." I said through clenched teeth.

"I wish we would've." I hit the back of his head with a smile.

"Oh shut up."

Dimitri smiled at me thoughtfully. He put his hands on my cheeks and looked me in the eyes. Everyone disappeared in that moment. All was silent. Dimitri leaned close and I could feel his lip brushing mine. I glanced down at his lips then up to his eyes. I smiled and closed the gap, our lips moving in sync. They fit perfectly like our fingers, like we truly did belong.

I heard a cough behind us. It was Zara. "Guys, easy on the PDA."

I pulled away and I heard Dimitri groan.

Chance turned his head and smiled a little. "My little sisters first kiss." Clem giggled little. It was nice to see she was back to her old self, partly.

I rolled my eyes and my dad cut in. "Alright cut it out all of you. Alima, Sabine, and myself need to talk to Archer."

Dimitri tilted his head. "Who?" The gaurd stepped forward. He was quite handsome with all the blood off. I could conclude he only looked around seventeen or eighteen, young for a guard.

"That would be me. But may I ask," He got close to Dimitri. "Why is the son of the Trudance Packs alpha in Cadience Pack territory?" He said softly. Usually a guard wouldn't hesitate to snap when a wolf isn't in their rightful territory.

"I'm Alima's mate." Dimitri spoke softly.

Archer looked to me. Guards are like warriors to the Alpha, but with Zoren dead they were at Silas' command.

"If you have a mate," Archer started. "Then you should be in the meeting as well."

"What meeting?" I asked.

My father looked to me. "Silas has called a meeting for the next generation of alphas and their mates if they have chosen one. They're going to officially become mates since it was never truly done. Other wolves will be officially mated within a week."
