Queequeg, Part Two
Dearest lover, I have finished your tale
'Twas so sad, I wish you hadn't gone off to sail
You could have stayed home with me
And stayed on land to find smaller fish in the sea
Dear Queequeg, perhaps then you would still be...
Dare I say it? Well, alive, honey...
I wish that you could still be here
For then I could live my life without fear
Knowing that you'd be there to protect and love me
That you'd always come for me, even if it mean crawling on your knees
I must admit that tears were shed
When I finished the story just then.
Queequeg, you gave me life
The only reason I kept on reading
Because I wanted to be your wife
I kept on hoping that maybe everyone was just misreading
Maybe there were wrong! Maybe you are still here.
Well, one thing is for sure, you'll always be right here...
In my heart.
