Spring Break?
Spring break, but yet it is snowing outside
A flurry of majestic white dust covers the ground
With harsh blows pulling my hair this way and that
Spring break, but yet it feels more like winter break.
Just last week I had my jacket off.
Mind that, last Tuesday I wore a toga - no jacket.
No winter jacket, the winter was over
We were all ready for spring break.
But no, no, no!
Spring break is irrelevant, is it not?
Well, if there isn't a hint of the fresh air
Perhaps I could hop on a plane and head off
To someplace warm.
Ha, spring break!
Some spring break this is.
In such a city
Spring break means
Taking a break from spring.
A year long hiatus and then some from warm temperatures.
The city is becoming a tundra.
