Fake Smile
She smiles but it doesn't mean anything.
It doesn't have to mean anything - it's only a smile.
She puts on a front to push away anyone's worries.
She needn't bother them.
They ask her if she's okay, but she only nods
And smiles.
They say hello to her and she says hello back
And smiles.
If only they could see that her soul was not
Smiling.
