Mind Set
The world is dark but my mind is set
On everything that should be and the way it should go.
I do not want light to shine through to me.
I do not want a ray of happiness to sparkle down.
My mind is too dark and twisted for me to feel such emotions.
It's like a storm constantly raining down in my head.
I ask for a sunny day but I do not belong there.
Or at least, not now.
