Day 12

I was wide awake staring at the wall. Today was my last day here. I had so much fun here. I actually didn't want go home. I washed my clothes and fold it and put it in my suitcases. I saw Lisa standing in my room. She stood rubbing her arm.

"I called my dad and he said we can stay home. He called the school and the day is excused." She sat down on my bed with her legs crossed. I zipped up my suitcase. I had a long hot shower and I still don't feel relaxed.

"That's good. Do you want to have another party?" I saw her watch me kind of creepy like. I stretch my nose trying check if I got anything on my face.

"Yeah sure. I wanted to talk to you about something." She moved around nervously I thought she was going to say something but she just watched me.

"What is it?" I crawled around the floor looking around for my contacts. I hated my horrible vision.

"Well Alex ask me out and I told him I'm not ready for a relationship." Dang how am I suppose to find my contacts if I can't see well. I started to get frustrated.

"Why are you not ready?" I really hate this crap. I should buy some glasses.

"I want to recover." She said looking out the window. I guess she likes birds because she couldn't keep her eyes off the black crow.

"That good!" I said thinking about the nights I heard her cry. I know she needs to be careful. She has a hard bumpy road in front of her. It wasn't going to be fun.

"Thanks." I heard her say laying down on my bed. I wouldn't say saw it's more like guessed. I had really bad sight.

"I know that it's going to be hard to communicate with others. I will help you no matter what." I said finding my container where my contacts be. I was super happy. I felt like dancing. I put them in my eyes and the world was so much clearer.

"Who's coming to the party?" I looked at her smiling at me. My vision finally focused in on everything.

"Whomever we desire." I said with my weird voice. I stood up and started getting stuff ready.

"I love chips!!" She grabbed a handful of Lay's chips. She shove the whole handful in her mouth.

"Wait I forgot to ask you! Do you know a girl name Kelsey?" I said sitting down grabbing a huge piece of cookie. Lisa kept thinking about it.

"Oh yeah! She tried to fight me last year because James choose me over her! She is like super crazy." you telling me. I had to witness her having a tantrum. I watched her threw a desk because James pick me over her.

"She got angry with me and threw a desk. She was relived when she found out you was coming back." I grabbed another piece of cookie and ate it slowly while telling the story to Lisa. When suddenly the door was knocked on. I open it to find ten boxes of pizza.

"Thank you for choosing Papa John." The delivery man said with a southern accent. He looked and sounded bored. I was scared to let him go afraid he would fall asleep while driving.

"Why ten Pizzas?!" I said carrying all the boxes. I put them on the table.

"Alex and James has a huge stomach so I got them two boxes for themselves." she said while setting the table in the front room in front of the television. I texted everybody and told them about the last party. Soon enough everyone got here. Everyone got a box of pizza a can of soda and how snacks they wanted. We watched Shallow Hal. With Jack black. Today was a sad day but we all still had fun. We danced, singed, played card games, and talked. I was hoping it never ended. When we played spin the bottle my spin landed on James and we had to stand in there for three minutes. We kissed. It was the best kiss we ever had. He tasted like he had French fries. He claimed he didn't though. We pushed away before the door opened. Yeah We decided to keep our relationship a secret until Lisa get better. We caught Jihanno kissing Tracy. That was the weirdest thing I witness that night. I need to think. James gave me the look. It was like he was saying it could have been you. Guess what James it wasn't me so stuff it!

The day had to end no matter how much I didn't want to. There was other people in the world. I saw parents drive up and leave with my friends. Alex was the last to leave. After they left we cleaned up. There was no food left so it was easy to clean. Lisa was right them boys got a small body but has a large appetite. They didn't leave a single crumb. They asked for some of my food cause I couldn't finish my pizza. We sat down and talked about what we enjoyed about the twelve days we had together. Until our parents came back. Her dad was surprised by how clean the house was. He was also surprised to smell fresh air.

"I don't know what you did but thank you." He shook my hands very fast. He looked at Lisa who face seemed to calm down.

"No sir thank you for letting me stay here. Not only did I get to stay in a wonderful home. I got to befriend a great lady." His hand shake grew firm just like his smile. It was like a warming smile where he felt proud of something. Before I left I hugged Lisa.

When I got home it looked sooo weird. Even though everything is untouched it feels like someone put someone else stuff in here that look identical to mine but not the same. I went upstairs and slide into my cold bed that waited for me patiently. I went into a deep sleep think about things. I don't think life can get better.
