Chapter 27
Nagising ako dahil sa bahagyang paggalaw ng kung sino sa tabi ko. I opened my eyes and saw Jairus' face. Parang kakahiga niya lang sa tabi ko.
"I'm sorry. Did I woke you up?" He asked. I shook my head and moved closer to hug his chest. Nakaunan ako sa kanyang kanang braso at ang kaliwa niya naman ay nasa aking bewang. I am in a very comfortable position right now.
"Good morning." He whispered and kissed my forehead. I can already smell the mint on his breath. While I am still here, having the ugly morning face.
"Morning." Tugon ko.
I looked down my body and saw that I have underwear on. Hindi ito yung suot ko kagabi. Tiningala ko si Jairus para bigyan siya ng mapagtanong na tingin at naintindihan niya naman ang aking pahiwatig.
"Your undies are wet. Pinabilhan kita sa empleyado ko." Sabi niya. He is tracing circles on my back and I copied him, tracing circles on his chest.
"I realized that we haven't ate last night." Sabi ko. Kumusta na kaya yung pagkaing nilapag niya sa mesa?
"Yeah because someone suddenly went near me and seduced me." Panunuya niya. I slapped his chest a bit that made him chuckle.
"You are the one seducing me."
"I'm just innocently cooking there, Caia." He softly said.
Right. He is just too hot when he's cooking with his sweat trickling on his body. His presence alone can make me feel hot. Effortless seducing, huh.
We stayed in that position until my stomach growled. He chuckled because he also felt it. Tumayo siya at umikot para makapunta sa gawi ko. I pulled down the sheets and slowly stood up from the bed but the soreness from all over my body is making me weak. Napupo ulit ako sa kama kaya hinawakan ni Jairus ang bewang ko.
When I adjusted to the soreness I am feeling, I immediately went to the bathroom and Jairus went to the kitchen to heat the food from last night again. Sayang naman iyon kung hindi kakainin.
There is a paper bag with the name of a known brand inside the bathroom. I opened it and saw a maroon tie neck collared flare dress. Sinuot ko iyon at nakitang tamang-tama lang siya para sa akin. The one who bought this has an amazing taste.
Paglabas ko ng bathroom naalala ko si daddy. I panicked and searched for my phone in the bed. Kaagad kong binuksan ang messages at mayroon nga siyang mga text doon pero nireplyan din naman ni Jairus.
Daddy:
Nasaan ka na?
Daddy:
Huwag nang masyadong magpagabi, hija.
Me:
Good evening, Tito. This is Jairus. She already fell asleep here in my condo. Ihahatid ko na lang po siya bukas.
Daddy:
Okay. Take care of my daughter.
Me:
Opo.
Mayroon ding missed calls si daddy doon. I walked towards the kitchen and saw the topless Jairus in front of the microwave. I hugged him from the back and rested my right cheek on it.
