Ch.10

Keira had a sinister smile on her face as she absorbed the dark energy radiating off of the Scimitar necklace. She relished it, and fed off of that power like there was no tomorrow. The others ebbed a bit but not enough to satisfy her hunger. She went over to the projection screen, as the soul of Draupadi walked away from the rest.

With her new amount of power and magic, she started sending acute, painful waves of dark energy, and watched as he wheezed in pain. His face turned purple by the second due to the lack of oxygen, and the beads of sweat making their way down his neck.

Then, she abruptly stopped, thinking that maybe it would be more fun if she slowly deprived him of his energy. A smirk creeped up onto her face as she thought about giving Aiden a slow, painful death.

She took a small flowerette, plucking the petals off, counting the days he had left. Suddenly, an idea leapt to her mind, as she combined the power of the jewels in order to make a mind link with Arundhati.

She focused her black magic into Aru's skull, enjoying the fear that came from the visions she was sending to Aru. Soon enough, the small flowerette was dyed black, making the beautiful brown orbs that belonged to Aiden, pitch black.

Now, Keira had full control over Aiden, ready to strike the deer with the full force of a tiger. Kiera let Aiden go, understanding that she could gain control whenever she wanted, and she could weaken the Pandava forces from the inside. In other words, their time was... well... limited!

Aiden felt extremely dizzy as he walked back to the rest of the Potatoes who were, once again, fast asleep. Aiden tried to go back to sleep, but his mind kept on wondering what happened to him when he walked away. All he could remember was the sharp pain in his chest.

Aiden pressed his palm to the pained area and flinched, The area was still very tender. After a moment's hesitation, Aiden stole one of Rudy's hand mirrors and sat inside of his tent. He carefully took off his shirt to inspect what he thought was an insect bite, only to see small black veins branching out from his heart.

Aiden pupils dilated in fear as he screamed, "WHAT THE FLIP IS THIS!?"

Sadly, his voice cracked, and all the Potatoes ran to his tent, almost making it collapse on him. Rudy let out a girly shriek which made Bynne hit him on the head with GoGo, effectively knocking him out.

Mini eyes widened, while Nikta looked like she didn't even care. Nikita gave Aiden a glare and said, "You have GOT to be kidding me. You woke me up in the middle of the night for some POISON? I'm going back to sleep, and when I wake up, this better be over."

She walked away to sleep next to Sheela, who was, surprisingly, still asleep with her thumb in her mouth.

Aiden slightly smiled at this, before his guarded face came back. He ushers them all out of the tent somehow convincing them that it was all a dream, and they bought it since they were all half asleep anyway. He dragged Rudy out too but not before Rudy grabbed his arm and started hugging it like a teddy bear.

"You're so pretty.... And your hair is suuuuuper soft toooo, " Rudy exclaimed, rubbing his cheek on Aiden's arm, like a cat (which is ironic since Rudy hated cats).

" What. The actual flip. Is going on, " Aiden asked, bewildered and slightly disgusted.

He dragged Rudy who was currently making kissy faces and mumbling under his breath, to the side of the tent. Aiden snickered, before pulling out his phone and taking a video of Rudy.

"Now THIS is wonderful blackmail material", He thought. Aiden wanted to drag Rudy back to his own tent, and let him sleep peacefully, until he decided against it, and made Rudy sleep on a dirty log, outside.

Once Aiden was satisfied with Rudy's suffering, he went back to his tent, smiling. His smile wavered, as he grew increasingly concerned, as he thought about the black veins growing on top of his heart.

"Am I going to die," he thought. Death was a sensitive topic which he had never given much thought about. If he died, would his family even care? What was he talking about? His dad wouldn't care, and his mother was too busy wallowing in her own problems to worry too much about Aiden dying, though Aiden was sure she loved him more than anything.

He was reminded about how Nikita said that he woke everyone up because he was Poisoned. Did everyone think that was what happened? Would he really die so soon? After everything he had been through? What about Aru?

" Aru... " He thought, before letting his mind and body rest in the tent he called his own.
