Ch.06

Brynne, Mini, and Rudy were walking in the Night Bazaar still trying to find Aru. They had split up from Aiden and the twins so that they would cover more ground. Everything was going smoothly until Brynne caught Mini stealing glances at Rudy, who was playing with a charmed sapphire.

Brynne smirked and leaned forward(she was just getting warmed up), "You know, Rudy, Mini looks a bit lonely over there. Maybe you guys could... talk," Brynne teased.

" She looks just fine to me Brynne," Rudy replied, his eyes glued to his sapphire.

Mini looked up and was slightly hurt, but brushed it off almost immediately, "What are you getting at Brynne?"

" I thought it was obvious you love birds! You both have crushes on each other! " Brynne exclaimed.

Mini's face blew up like a tomato, her eyes wide open, " I- I DON'T BRYNNE! QUIT TEASING."

Brynne rolled her eyes, "Okay, sure. What about you, Rudy? I can see it in your eyes. Love is in the air, people. Honestly... just date already!"

Rudy stopped walking and grew stiff, and dropped his sapphire. Brynne and Mini listened to it clatter on the floor of the Bazaar. He growled, "I DON'T HAVE A CRUSH ON MINI! I DON'T LIKE HER IN ANY WAY! SHE'S ANNOYING AND ALWAYS TALKS ABOUT DEATH! I CAN'T DEAL WITH HER SOMETIMES!"

Mini trembled and her lip quivered, " I-" She started. She couldn't take it. Mini sprinted as fast and far as she could, tears spilling from her dark brown eyes. It was moments like these where she wished with all her heart that her first sister was here. Aru would know what to do.

'What would Aru do,' Mini thought to herself**

Rudy tried to run after her but was soon blocked by a thundering, angry image of Brynne.

Brynne growled at him, " WHAT THE HECK DID YOU DO!? YOU WERE BEING SO INSENSITIVE! THOSE THINGS YOU SAID WERE SO CRUEL!"

Rudy looked up, a snake slit pupil was forming in his eyes, in anger, he screamed, " YOU THINK I DON'T KNOW THAT? I REALIZE THAT NOW! THEN AGAIN, IT'S ALL YOUR FAULT! IF ONLY YOU DIDN'T START THE CONVERSATION, THIS WOULD HAVE NEVER HAPPENED! But, what was I expecting... AFTER ALL, BEING HALF-RAKSHASI DOESN'T MAKE THINGS ANY BETTER! I SHOULD HAVE EXPECTED THIS KIND OF BEHAVIOR FROM A DEMON LIKE YOU! "

Brynne's eyes briefly sparkled with tears, but disappeared as fast as they came. Rudy never noticed, nor did he care in the heat of the moment.

" You know what Rudy," Brynne said, deathly calm, "If I'm so much of a disappointment to you then I suppose that you can look for Aru without me. You clearly dislike me for my parentage.'

"FINE! SO BE IT," Rudy picked up his gem, and stormed off, the guilt slowly beginning to eat him up every second.

Brynne walked away, her head held high so that her tears wouldn't fall, as Mini slashed a tree with DeeDee like no tomorrow. Rudy kicked his gems. In the end, they all felt sorrow. They all violated their bond and they were now left with nothing but air between them. They felt sick as they stayed away from each other, desperately wanting to turn things back to normal, but things wouldn't be normal anymore...at least...not without the glue that held them together. Aru.

༶•┈┈⛧┈♛Cassidy the Time Skip ♛┈⛧┈┈•༶

The twins wandered aimlessly, through their section of the Night Bazaar. Sheela was actually looking for Aru, calling out her name in hopes of finding her near one of the dessert stands. Nikita on the other hand, was ferociously erasing a design out of her notebook mumbling things about a dress not being perfect.

Sheela wanted to talk to her sister so she started off, "You know, ever since mom sort of...left us, you and Aru have been my best friends...if you don't count Mini. But I think things would go faster if you looked for Aru with me instead of just drawing."

Nikita rolled her eyes, not in the mood to talk, "I appreciate that Sheela, but honestly, if I was to be completely real with you right now, mom would probably hate us. She'd think we're freaks of the world. I mean you can see the fudgin' future and I can talk to plants, so ya know," she ended, shrugging her shoulders.

Sheela's temper rose, "You know mom would never say that! If you just stopped drawing in that notebook of yours and used your brain, you wouldn't say that! EVER!"

Nikita flinched, surprised. She put her nose up in the air like the rich people on Wall Street did. She sauntered off gracefully saying something about her sister being born as an ungrateful child. Sheela hearing this, walked off in a different direction, tears streaming down her face. She looked back at her sister before screaming at her, "YOU WOULD HAVE DISAPPOINTED BOTH MOM AND DAD BY SAYING THAT NIKITA! YOU'RE GOING TO REGRET IT!"

Keira sat there relishing the godly power she had just gotten from that Aiden boy. She wondered how long it would take for the rest of them to break apart, because their glue was gone. She smirked, and leaned back on her chair. Soon enough an extremely painful tremor passed through her body as she doubled over in pain.

Keira made her way to the projection screen with difficulty, as she saw 3 people at once. The first one named, Mini, the second one being Ruby? No, Rudy, and the last one being Brynne. Mini was slashing a tree after being hated on, Brynne was sulking by a pond, after being compared to her parents, and Rudy was crying his eyes out after screaming at Mini and being horrible to Brynne

She relished the negative energy pulsing through their special jewels. Once again with a simple flick of the wrist, she possessed a ring of wind, a Hairclip of death, and a Naga gem, all placed in their respective pedestal.

"Yes Potatoes. Fall. Fall apart. Your negative emotions are perfect. They give me power. So cry. Cry your little hearts out. I'll be strong enough to rule the universe!" Keira cackled.
