Ch.16

Aiden's P.O.V. (first person) :

I woke up in the middle of the night because of Rudy (and Nikita's) incessant torture. They made me slap my face with shaving cream, and on top of that, they flippin' drew on my face! Rudy even had the audacity to touch my curls! MY CURLS! It's not right to touch another man's curls. Not right AT ALL.

I threatened that I would pour ice in Rudy's pants when he wasn't looking, and I would. I just needed to plan it out. I wondered if Aru would want to pour ice down his pants too - or maybe just his shirt. That's a better idea.

I was going to threaten Nikita, but Frank-ly (HA! FRANK PUN! - Trips), that girl scared the socks off me. I just decided to go for the safe option, since Rudy couldn't do anything to me (he still needed me for his "boy-band").

I went back to sleep after a while, thinking about how to get back at the two troublemakers. Surprisingly, I had no dreams, but that freaked me out a little. There wasn't a night that went by, where I had no nightmares. Something bad was going to happen, and I wasn't ready to find out what, just yet.

*̩̩͙˚̩̥̩̥*̩̩̥͙　Switch back to 3rd person P.O.V.　*̩̩̥͙˚̩̥̩̥*̩̩͙‧͙

Mini was scared. Terrified even! She was just attacked by a squirrel and wanted to talk to someone about it. Who better to talk with then her than Aru herself? Aru would never laugh at this and would take her word....hopefully.

Mini marched over to Aru's tent only to see that she was gone. Mini's heart thumped faster in fear as she ran around the camp looking for her. After looking everywhere, she collapsed (probably scared that she was going to get rabies if she didn't get a tetanus shot soon). She fell to the ground, in tears, sobbing with a hand covering her mouth. Suddenly, she screamed, and everyone else came running. Aiden knelt by her side, asking her softly about why she was screaming.

Mini tried speaking, " Aru is - she's - "

Aiden's eyes widened as he gestured for her to continue.

Mini took a deep breath as she said very calmly, "Aru's gone." With that, she ran as far as her feet could take her. She saw something rather peculiar when she stopped. It wasn't something, it was someone. A certain blue and white haired, someone. Exhaustion, confusion, and worry ganging up on her, as she collapsed in front of the one they called Boo.

*̩̩͙˚̩̥̩̥*̩̩̥͙　A few moments before Kara's Attack on Mini　*̩̩̥͙˚̩̥̩̥*̩̩͙‧͙

Keira smiled evilly, as she gave the gift of Time Manipulation to Kara. If all went well, then she could finally end the Potatoes. Kara's eyes grew in fear as she saw a blinding light flying right towards her. When she was hit, a beautiful hair clip weaved metal through her hair to form a clock out of it. Tick tock, It seemed to say, whispering countless wishes that could be granted. Kara's eyes glowed bright as the possibilities echoed in her brain.

" Now you will be able to control time, but only ONCE! You hear me Kara? ONCE!" Keira yelled, making sure the message went through Kara's mind controlled head.

Kara's eyes snapped back into focus as she asked Keira what her next plan was. Keira's smirk was like the cheshire cat's smile as she pulled a black hooked cane from a dark corner

" I'm going to hijack that Aiden kid's body for a while." She said, as a shadow was cast over her eyes.

Soon, they saw things out of Aiden's view. Most of them were crying and had solemn expressions. However, that small kid and the glasses girl (Bro I'm a glasses girl. I legit can't see without them XD- PLB) were missing. Keira couldn't care less about them, but she knew they weren't to be underestimated.

She carelessly pointed to Kara,"Go find Ginny or whatever little girl's name is. I need you to bring her back to the camp. All this Aiden kid's doing is sleeping, so nothing interesting is happening. If we want to hear their plan, everyone needs to be here. Now go," she said, and with a flick of her wrist, Kara was behind a tree watching Mini fight a...tree?

She saw a squirrel chitter angrily at Mini, and that's when she hatched a plan to make the squirrel attack Mini...everyone knows the story from there...

Aiden watched Mini run, but didn't go after her. Instead, he witnessed the unexpected. He felt Rudy push past him and run after Mini, himself. Aiden smiled, but then remembered what Mini had said about Aru. She was gone. Again. Why did she keep leaving.

Aiden groaned, and went back to his tent. That was when he felt a sickly tug near his chest. He took off his shirt, and watched, as the veins on his chest pulsated, sending off a humming noise. Aiden felt his throat constrict and his mouth dry up.

The poison was doing this. Beads of sweat formed on the nape of his neck, as Aiden tried to stop the poison from taking over any more of his body. He didn't know if he had the power to stop a poison, but he had to try. Aiden bit back screams as he confined the poison to one spot near his chest, and collapsed on his sleeping bag when he felt his veins stop throbbing. He took in shuddered breaths of relief, and quickly fell deep into the realm of sleep.
