CHAPTER 35:
Boo wanted to walk away from the teenagers, but his emotions kept him there. He knew that if he left them alone, they would never be able to get to Aru in time. He turned back to look at every single one of them. The tension was so thick that not even Aiden scimitars could cut through them.
Aiden, noticing this, spoke up, "Boo," he said tentatively, casting all eyes on him, "I sort of realized that Surya was the one you told not to give our memories back. But I have a question. If Karen was with us, how did she go into your memory?"
Boo sighed and held the bridge of his nose in annoyance, "Our jewels are connected to us, which means they have access to our memories. That's how Karen showed you the scene. It was still freshly ingrained in my head."
Aiden nodded in satisfaction, but air was still tense. Rudy, being the dumb naga he was, decided that it would now be a good time to trip on air and fall flat on his face, which is exactly what he did. That startled everyone, and they rolled their eyes. However, after a minute or two, Rudy still didn't wake up.
Aiden crouched down to see if Rudy was okay. He flipped the boy, so that his back was to the ground. Rudy seemed to be knocked out cold. Mini took out her Hydro Flask and decided to splash him with a little water, but Brynne on the other hand, cracked a grin.
"You know, true love's kiss always wakes up a sleeping princess, er, prince," she said, eyeing the poor, blushing girl.
She glared at Brynne and then smirked, "Are you saying that you want to kiss Rudy, Brynne?"
Brynne stumbled back, her hand reaching to her chest as if she was having a heart attack, "EW! NO! I- oh forget it! You know, I think Aru might have rubbed off on you...and that's not good," Brynne's eyes trailed down to the water bottle in Mini's hands. She grabbed it, not caring about Mini protests, " Imma wake this fool up before you drive me crazy."
With that, she unscrewed the cap and proceeded to dump the contents onto the poor, unsuspecting Naga Prince who promptly woke up, sputtering. He wiped the water off his face, eyes wide, "WHAT THE FLIP WAS THAT FOR?!"
Mini snatched the water bottle back from Brynne, muttering something about how, "she took the water bottle from her without any care for personal hygiene."
Brynne rolled her eyes and held out her arm for him to take, "Get up, child. I am so done with your idiocy."
Rudy graciously accepted the hand and got up, playfully pouting, "Yeah well...I got nothing."
Boo just rolled his eyes, "Thanks to all of you, another day had literally passed by. We have to get you Dwaraka, otherwise, Aru has to face Kiera on her own. Get some rest. We're leaving tomorrow."
The Potatoes all nodded collectively and went back to their tents.

Mini sighed for the 1500th time that night, as she absent mindedly touched the area of her head in which her jewel usually was. She was usually the smart one, the one whose brain never stopped thinking and moving its gears. Now, she wished it would stop. She couldn't sleep, her mind flooded with, What ifs, Whys and just life in general.
She glanced at Rudi's sleeping figure next to her, his chest raising and falling every few seconds. The only sign he was still alive. They had been sharing a tent because Rudy had broken the zipper to his, and being the genius he was, decided to cut a hole in the side to escape. Mini fell onto her side, engulfing herself in the blankets around her. It was a cold night, with even colder intentions.
