Just over a week has passed since classes started again, it was a bit much for the first few days, but Mew was already adjusting, getting back into the routine and slowly becoming accustomed to the early mornings.

He's also been looking for a part time job, but he hasn't found anything yet. A lot of them just don't work for him and overlap with his classes or are too far away, and he doesn't particularly want to have to drive home late at night, tired and not in the best state to drive.

Definitely not on his to-do list.

But he'll continue his search. It's just a bit annoying and frustrating. Because as much as he likes not having to really worry about money, his tuition or stuff like that 'cause his parents pay for all that, he also wants to be independent, gain some life experience.

Or at least contribute to the thing that's ensuring his ability to further continue his studies. And he knows it's not easy to juggle everything and that he's privileged to not have to worry about the things that most students do, and he's grateful for that, he really is. It's just that he wants to know what it feels like instead of being one of those rich, snobby people who have everything handed to them as if they were royalty.

He hates those kinds of people. I mean it's one thing to be rich and well off, but it's another to go around boasting about it and making everyone else feel as though they're lower than you and can't live up to your standards. That's just being an asshole.

But that's what happens to some people, they get rich, buy new fancy things and start to build a god like complex for themselves, when in actuality you're just narcissistic brats.

It doesn't really matter if you're rich or not, it all just depends on how you use, or act about it. Because you don't need to be a rich person to be an asshole, and you don't have to be poor to be a good person. It all just depends on your personality and what kind of person you are on the inside.

And there are some really unsavoury people out there...

But anyway, it's 15:27 and Mew's just finished his last class of the day, and he couldn't be more happy to be done for the day. His right hand a bit sore from the continuous act of having to write and take notes, along with the slight discomfort in his lower back from the slouching.

It was times like these that he wished there was also a bath tub in his dorm, even though he doesn't particularly like them, it would be nice to just relax his muscles in the warm water.

It was a bit of a walk to his dorm from where he currently was, and in all honesty he just wasn't in the mood for walking, he was feeling extra tired today for some reason and just didn't want to really do anything.

So with that thought in mind, he decides to just rest for a bit outside on the grass.

Walking towards the mini court like area, he takes a seat towards the center of the grass patch, placing his bag down and leaning backwards to lie down, his arms behind his head forming a sort of solid pillow. He closes his eyes and exhales a tired huff.

It was surprisingly warm considering it was now mid September and the sun was doing a good job of keeping things toasty, bringing a light shade of orange to the back of Mew's closed eyelids as he continues to soak up the natural immune booster. But Mew also knows this won't be happening very often, so he's simply enjoying it while it lasts.

The spring rains will soon start and condemn everyone to stay inside away from the cold while they wrap up in blankets, mugs of warming substances held between their hands. And as much as Mew loves the rain, he also enjoys his warm sunny days.

But luckily the rains will only start towards the end of the month, so it's still a few days until he's to be trapped in his dorm, except for attending classes and going out to the store and stuff like that...
