~•Y/n First Person POV•~
So. Many. Books!
"Tobio! Look at this one!" I whisper-yelled.
"Are you going to do that with every book? Because if so, we're going to be here a while," he commented. I turned, expecting to see an angry Kageyama, but he was actually grinning. I smiled at what I saw. "What?" He tilted his head a bit. "Why are you smiling at me like that?"
"No reason. I just like when you're around," I replied.
His face went red. I laughed, then turned my attention back to the book in my hand. This one was pretty big; it would take me a couple weeks to read. I held onto it and continued to graze through the other sections. I kept picking up books I was interested in until my arms were too filled.
"Give them to me," Kageyama offered.
I was going to refuse, but he was already taking them. We found a table and he spread them out so I could analyze which ones I wanted. It took me a bit to decide which ones I was going to buy, but when I finally decided we went to checkout. As I was pulling my money out, I heard register beep.
"Tobio, why did you do that? I could have gotten that," I said.
"I know. I wanted to." Kageyama the bag from the woman behind the register.
"Have a nice day!" The woman smiled. We thanked her and left.
"You really didn't have to do that," I assured him.
"Just accept it. It's already done," he said.
"Thank you," I gave in.
"Of course."
"Are you hungry? We could get diner."
"Where do you want to go?"
"Do you remember that new restaurant you were telling me about a while ago? Do you want to go there?"
"Ye-"
"Give it back!" we heard someone shout.
"No! You need eat! Now stop being so stubborn!" another voice said. I know those voices. We kept walking and found the source.
"Kuroo, I'm so close to beating the game!" Kenma was reaching for his game.
"You've already beat this game four times! You already know how this ends!" Kuroo was pushing him away.
"Hey! Hey! Hey! You guys finally showed up!" Bokuto beamed.
"You two are late," a new person said.
Kageyama and I finally found them.
"Sorry, Akaashi. We would have gotten here sooner, but Kenma wouldn't put the game down to eat," Kuroo glared at Kenma, who finally began eating his rice ball.
"L/n!" Bokuto noticed.
"And Kageyama," Kuroo smirked. "What are you two doing here?"
"We heard you three yelling," I answered.
"Yeah, it wasn't hard to find you," Kageyama added.
"I am so sorry for them," 'Akaashi' apologized.
"It's alright! I'm L/n, Y/n!" I introduced.
"Akaashi, Keiji," he replied.
"How do you know them?" Kageyama asked me.
"When I was taking your sister to get ice cream, they saw your Karasuno jacket and approached me," I answered.
"And you said you two weren't dating, but here you are. On a date," Kuroo continued smirking.
