~•Y/n First Person POV•~
"It's finished!" I cheered. "It's done! Perfect!"
"Y/n! Would you stop shouting! You're going to scare the customers!" Ukai reprimanded.
"You're yelling louder than I am! And there's no one here!" I shouted to the back room. "Besides, don't you have practice?"
"Yes, but I'm obviously running late." He ran through the store. "Someone didn't tell me the time."
"Someone didn't tell me I had to be your clock," I shot back.
"Attitude," he warned.
"Sorry." I put my hands up in defense.
"Alright, I'm going to go now," he said.
"You should've gone ten minutes ago," I joked.
"Y/n-"
"Bye, Ukai." I waved to him as he left.
I sat back in my chair and began reading my article. It's perfect! Yachi's photos made this look more like a real newspaper. I'm so glad I had her photograph the team. It was all printed out and ready for me to turn in to the club. I printed out an extra copy to give to the team to look at. I finished my shift at work and ran to the gym. They should be cleaned up by now.
When I opened the doors, I saw Kageyama setting for Hinata. Noya was on the other side, preparing to receive it. They've improved so much in the last month.
"L/n, hey!" Yachi smiled.
"It's done!" I told her.
"It is?" she exclaimed. "I gave you those pictures last week. How did you manage to finish it?"
"It wasn't that difficult. Though I drew some inspiration from your work, I had most of it written before that match."
I heard a smacking sound; I looked over to see that Noya had successfully retrieved the ball. "L/n! Did you see that?" he shouted. "That was totally awesome, right?"
"Hell yeah, Nishinoya!" Tanaka high-fived his best friend.
"You guys have put in a lot of work, I see," I noted.
"So what brings you here?" asked Hinata.
"Well, I just wanted to let you all know that . . ."
"That?" Suga repeated.
I held up my work. "I finished the article!"
"Congratulations!" Daichi smiled like a proud father.
"No way!" Noya gasped, as he grabbed the papers from my hand. "Let me see!"
"Don't go hogging it to yourself!" Tanaka nudged him.
"You really finished it?" Kageyama walked over to me.
I nodded with a grin. He rested one of his arms around me to give me a side hug. Ukai looked like he was ready to tear us apart, but didn't because Takeda kept him from doing so.
"You're sweaty." I pushed him away. He shrugged and the team exchanged smirks and glances.
"Guys, don't rip it up! They might still need to turn that in," Ennoshita warned; they froze.
"They're fine. I made this copy for you guys anyway," I assured him.
"Some of us actually want to read it though." Daichi glared at them.
