~•Y/n First Person POV•~
Today was finally the first day of the semifinals. Karasuno's first match was up against Johzenji. Their opponents definitely had their strengths, but they also kept making a lot of mistakes. There was a time where someone ran into the net. Then, two people bumped into each other while going for the ball. Things like that. Eventually, Kageyama went for a block and was successful.
"Yes!" Yachi and I cheered.
"Oh, no," Shimada said.
"What?" I asked.
"Kageyama made that block . . . With his face," he finished.
Kageyama turned and I could see his bloody nose. He looked angry. "Oh my god." I leaned over the edge of the balcony.
Kiyoko gave him a tissue and Yamaguchi took him out of the game. Yachi and I ran out of the stands to go find him. When I found him, he looked surprised to see me. "What are you doing here?" he asked.
"Never mind that right now," I brushed him off. "Are you okay? How's your vision? Do you have a headache? Does your nose feel broken? Can you walk straight?"
"Y/n, I'm fine," he assured me. "It's just a nosebleed."
"Let's get you to the infirmary," I said.
"I don't want you to come with me," he said.
"What? Why not?" I asked.
"I want you to watch the game. That's what you're here for, right?" he explained. "I want you to see what they can do. And I'm going to need someone to tell me what happened while I was gone."
"I can help him," Yachi assured me. "That's my job as a manager, right?"
I sighed. "If anything comes up, you tell me, right away. Do not wait."
"I will! Now, go!" Yachi pushed me toward the stands. "You won't be disappointed."
Damnit. He better be okay.
I continued to watch the game. Hinata was now on the bench. Suga was replacing Kageyama. Admittedly, it was cool to see what Suga is capable of. I've only seen him in practice, but never in game. They were doing a really good job keeping it together. Eventually, Kageyama was put back into the game and Yachi told me he was okay. I thanked her for everything. When the game ended, Karasuno prevailed and came out on top. Since their game was over, Yachi and I went to go find them.
"Good job, guys!" I said. "That was incredible. You all made some really good moves."
"Thank you!" They said.
Everyone left after that and rested up for the next day. They now have to go up against Wakutani South.
When I woke up that next morning, I immediately started to get ready. I ran out of the house and made sure to catch the train. I found the venue they were playing at and didn't stop running until I made it. I greeted Yachi and Shimada. I then met Tanaka's older sister, Saeko. She seems sweet.
When the teams were done warming up, the game finally started. It was going well until Daichi and Tanaka went for the ball. At the same time. The crash didn't look pretty. "Daichi?" I whispered.
"Are they going to be okay?" Saeko asked.
"Stay this time," Yachi said. "Remember what Kageyama said?"
"Take care of him," I ordered. "You always do."
Tanaka looked guilty. I could then see the team cheering him up. The match continued, and Ennoshita replaced Daichi. He was doing a really good job, especially with the amount of pressure he's under.
