Shifting to Hogwarts

Chapter 9

I woke up earlier than usual. I looked out the window it was foggy but so beautiful. I put on my uniform and robes and headed down for breakfast. It was Sytherin's and Girffindor's  first class with Hagrid. Of course I knew how this class would end since I read the books and watch all the movies. But first we had Professor Trelawney. Everyone thought she was insane including me but I liked that about her! She barely had a care in the world and often helped those who needed it in her class. Harry, Ron and I walked over to her class. Although she was a little wonky she's still a great person and more importantly teacher. I noticed Hermione wasn't here that's odd she's usually early. Then it hit me. The time turner! I had completely forgot about that!

Professor Trelawney gave a dramatic introduction to her class. In this term we were cup reading which I thought might be exciting. It reminds me on tiktok with the tarot readers and such. I found it cool that you could get signs or predict the future. I really wanted to get into that stuff but I really was unmotivated.

"What a load of rubbish!" I heard Herminone say.

"Where did you come from?" Ron asked sounding shocked

"Me? I've been here all along." I knew she was lying.
"Is your grandmother well?" The Professor asked Neville.

"I think so..?" Neville responses sounding unsure. Trelawney picked up Neville's tea cup.
"Pity."
Poor Neville. He is probably either very confused or concerned.
I loved this class it was fun in my opinion. Harry had gotten the death omen Ron definitely needed touching up on cup reading skills. He was quite unsure about everything. He needed more confidence in my opinion. Next was Hagrid's again one of my favourites classes specifically this one. Hagrid introduced us to his class. Harry and Draco got into a bit of a scrap. Draco started acting scared then shouted
"Dementor! Dementor!" All his goons started laughing and put up their hoods and stared wiggling their fingers while going
"Ooooohhh"
Don't really know how that is something funny to joke about.
I loved this scene it was quite entertaining  though.
I loved Draco and his sass. Then Hagrid arrived with Buckbeak. Oh how I loved hippogriffs they are so majestic and proud. They scared me of course but I was afraid of so many things. Hagrid was looking for a volunteer for some to know Buckbeak. Everyone instinctively backed up except for Harry. I'm pretty sure he didn't know everyone did. Harry was riding and getting to know buckbeak first. While Harry was riding Buckbeak Hagrid had told us the dangers of hippogrifs and a bunch more about them. He told us to open our textbooks.  Of course with all Hagrids warnings about them not liking insults which would be very important information. A few people struggled some more then others. Especially Neville.
"I think he probably should have told us this earlier. Someone could've died!" Hermione whispered in my ear. I nodded in agreement but still Hagrid did a pretty good job for first day. Harry landed and didn't seem as scared as he was before. Then Draco came stomping toward buckbeak while saying,
"Yeah you're not dangerous at all, are you? You great ugly brute!" I knew he made the mistake of insulting him. Draco was close to buckbeak by now he looked up in surprise when buckbeak was on his back two legs. Buckbeak then scratched him cutting through his robes. I knew everything that's going to happen but still seeing it infront of my own two eyes shocks me and makes me forget everything.

"It's killed me! It's killed me!" He wailed. Oh what a big baby I thought. Hagrid threw some meat in the opposite direction to ward it away. Harry had a bit of a smirk on his face.
"Alright! Class dismissed!" Hagrid said. He walked away holding Draco in his arms like a baby.

I entered the common room some first years were playing wizards chess. I walked into the third years girls dormitory. No one was in there. I found it rather odd. I then left and saw Fred in the common room about to leave.

"Wait up!" I said. Fred came to stop then saw me and smiled.
"Oh thank heavens it's just you.. I was about to head down to the great hall, wanna join me?" He asked.
"Yeah sure got nothing else to do!" I responded. We headed down to the great hall and we passed Draco his arm in a sling bragging about how lucky he was not to die.
'What a load of rubbish!' I thought to myself. We entered the great hall. No matter how many times I go into the great hall it's always mesmerizing. I looked at my locket that tells time in my CR. It was 4:50 am. Fred gave me glance and asked.
"What's that locked for?"
"Oh nothing just a gift!" I said quickly hoping he wouldn't ask anything else. I didn't want anyone knowing I shifted. This was probably the most important information that must stay secret.
